BMW passion derives from the fact back when it was the an amazing german import: if you saw a porsche or a beamer on the road, you knew this guy liked cars because he saw GT competitions and he saw BMW. There really wasnt any other way to know what a BMW was back then, which made it so great and iconic. Later iterations of the car never made the same impact... Heavier and heavier the main models got, the less it attracted the same customers. There's a reason why they cost so much: its inflated by the basic plebs that grew up on second generation bmw owners that were told beamers were worth the import. Nowadays, what do you get in a beamer that a true enthusiast wouldnt buy a lexus or infiniti instead? Absolutely nothing. Even my beamer friend wants a type R... Fuck wit dat shit.

I wish BMW still made raw sports cars like they used to with bespoke engines (unique to the M brand) now M division just uses regular bmw engines and tweaks it and puts a higher boosting turbo and slap on a 50% price increase over a m340i for example.SMH bmw has lost its soul. i moss my e46 though maybe ill get one and have someone swap out the transmission for a ZF unit or a DCT
