Andreas Breslawski I don't think it's faster than an RS7, the RS7 is a seriously quick car. I'm with you on it being sportier though, and less practical (not that it's a particularly impractical car).

Tim, I agree on your comment about the ACC. My Audi S3 8V has it as well and I never use it, while I normally love to use cruise control on long drives. Especially in traffic it leaves huge gaps, so other people will always jump in front of you + when I'm approaching a truck on a motorway, it starts decreasing the speed like 300m in advance (like you mentioned). Somehow this system can not be deactivated manually and therefor I would never ever choose this option on my future car.

I just got her! Unbelievable machine! Pulls like an elephant and in the same time burns 10-12 l/100 km. I think she has more than 421 hp? I had Audi A8 4.2 TDI 385 hp for 3 years and it's nothing like it.

That distance for the adaptive cruise control can probably be adjusted. It can in my Mercedes. It's on the cruise-control stalk, there's a dial where I get to choose the gap distance.

Funny how no one mentions the fuel tank capacity of the car.They just see the power and the distance. It's a big difference between a 90 liters fuel tank like this car has and let's say a 70 l tank.Regardless,it's good for it's specifications.

Having to stop, pull out a phone, and make a change to performance settings seems bothersome. Surely the RaceChip engineers could have integrated something on the dashboard for on-the-fly changes. Also the fuel tank is 75L in the Diesel so the economy displayed here is great for a 420hp car.

To me there is no competition between the FF and a Diesel Panamera, for a long distance cruiser. The powerful (torque) diesel engine and amazing economy compared to a V12, leaves the FF without a chance. But that's just me. After they redesigned it to no longer look like absolute crap, i'd fancy a Panamera for the long distances. It looks quite good to me.
