It's so weird that when Billie was younger his talking voice was really deep but his singing voice was quite high pitched, and now his talking voice is really high and his singing voice is much deeper.. lol

America never 'missed out on punk the first time around'. Punk had been there from the begining, it is even credited with being created in the US. One of the main ideas of punk is that it is underground and not part of the mainstream, it was just more mainstream in the UK at the height of punk in the mid to late 70s/ early 80s. Just because it wasn't obvious to anybody doesn't mean it didn't exist. There are many brilliant US punk bands from the begining and still are today and I am not talking about pop punk. Hell the Dead Kennedys, one of the most important and best punk bands are from California. The reason why GD exist and became big was because of California's punk scene, even though it is underground it was and still is an amazingly powerful and big scene.

So this must have been filmed at the beginning of the Euro tour, the same week they were in the UK to play Hotel Babylon. Such a shame this tour was cancelled half way through and they didnt get to do the UK dates. Would loved to have seen Mr T Experience open for them on that '96 tour. Green Day was a very different band when they came back on the Nimrod tour. Oh well, you gotta do what you gotta do...
