If you want to, then only go for it. Hindi isn't tough and if you stay in the USA, then learning it would not be a difficult task. What's difficult is to comprehend the local lingo. There are ten states in India, which have dialects based on Hindi, so there are ten different ways to speak it. Once you get a hold of it, then you are the wisest of all.
