Some people don't like violence
@Badbufon9 жыл бұрын
Liam Logan i dont like it either, but bullies respond to violence, once you show them you can defend yourself, they will respect you more and open a door to become "friends", at least the kind of bully that i have deal in my life was like that. for short : step 1 : show them that you are not a easy target. step 2 : talk to them and find something in common. profit : now you are somewhat respected. bonus : if a new bully tries to get you, the last one can warn him "dont fuck with this one". true story.
@adu19915 жыл бұрын
It doesn't always work, especially when you're older. You can get arrested for assault if you willingly did that.
@ibthat1guy4 жыл бұрын
Tbh that may have been the solution back then but now we live in a very dangerous and rebellious generation of kids, today most of the bullies will bring a weapon or a gang with them and automatically resort to violence. Same thing with telling on that bully to your teacher or someone, the outcomes will be the same always. So punching the bully back or telling on them nowadays is probably the most dangerous thing you can do. So really the only solution is to avoid that person or get real authority’s involved. Sad but true

I have a group of friends who consistently "joke around" with each other. Everyone in the circle of friends is aware of certain areas that cross the line when it comes to making fun of one another, and when the line is crossed we speak up and it's never tread upon again. There may be many groups of friends like this and it can be easily perceived by some people in a negative way. The difference between this and bullying is that we respect each others boundaries and we enjoy it in our group.

Boogie I love your serious videos. I've listened to everyone you've put up and they just make me want to go out and change the world for the better. They're like little therapy sessions that I can listen to anytime I've had a rough day. Sure I've got my share of problems, I was born with severe Hip Dysplasia and two years ago was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and it's progressively gotten worse, but you make me realize that there are so many people worse off and idk you're just a great guy, ty.

I would consider myself overweight. I was bullied back in school. I wasn't popular. I wasn't great at certain activities. But you know what? I am good at bowling! I am good at video games! I am good at school! I just graduated from MSU and I am planning on going to Physical Therapy school next year. I have wonderful parents, a sis, bro-in-law, two nieces and a gf that loves me and supports me. No matter how much someone bullies me, I have several positives to focus on. Thank you Boogie!

I loved what he said about bullying preventing people from exploring their individual talents. Everyone's "bully is normal/natural" argument is always that "it toughens people up." But like this man said, that was useful back in the tribal or feudal stages of society. Not now in the 21st century, where different skills and specialization is needed.
@SharinganSora9512 жыл бұрын
I might not personally know or share the same experience personally that you have just expressed but... I feel you man. I don't really know how it is to be overweight but I still... But even thru all these issues and all, u still find a way to be positive and be one of the kindest and most supportive people ive met. God Bless ya man. Keep striving to better everything around you. U just earned another Sub.

Hey man! I salute you 100%! I was bullied in middle school, though not to the extent of most who are, mostly for being awkward, overweight, and bisexual. Now, I'm in high school and respected. I'm a budding young programmer and hacker, and a pretty decent musician. To all those out there, you just have to learn to give em the finger, tell em to kiss your ass and walk away. Please DO NOT resort to that gun in your mouth. You're an awesome person, you just have to find unique people like you. Loo

Boogie, I was also bullied and I found one answer that works 100% of the time violence. If someone is bullying you at school punch them in the face. If you can't whip them with your hands use a stick! Bullies will not stop till they are taught a lesson and it feels great being the person to teach them!

Haters' gonna hate. That's sort of just the facts of life. Haters/bullies all have a high chance of having an abusive childhood and left scars in their lives. These scars are only externalized through bullying people who appear to be happier than they are. Very respectable message Francis. Thank you for sharing.

I was bullied for the most idiotic reasons when I was a kid and eventually it made me extremely insecure, lonely and paranoid which still continues to this day. It's been about 10 years. Bullies need to take a deep look into their souls and realize what insignificant little fucks they really are. Making fun or hurting someone else WILL NEVER MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER. So stop ruining everyone elses life and GET SOME HELP FOR YOURSELF! Thanks for this video, it reminded me of some important things.

I use to get picked on all the time when I was young, from beat up, spit on, tossed in trash cans, etc... I wanted to defend myself, but I was afraid of getting beat up. As I grew older and worked out in the gym I gained about 150 pounds. Once I hit 6'6, 240 pounds I felt confident enough that I could defend myself. I began to walk with my chest stuck out and chin up, ready to be picked on. Well, I have not been picked on since. Now people fear me, little do they know I'm harmless :D

"You can discover what your enemy fears most by observing the means he uses to frighten you." - Eric Hoffer I think in a way, people some times attempt to face their own weaknesses by abusing others in that regard. It may be that such conduct is their attempt to have a kindred spirit, per-se, while maintaining a comfortable emotional distance. When only words are at stake, I prefer to respond as though the insult is applicable to me and how I supposedly worked through said topic.

I have made it my life's goal to keep it from happening around me. I would like to say one thing though to the people who do this. Be careful one day you will pick on the wrong one, and you may pay with your life. People can only take so much and when they have had enough they don't think they act.

Bullying is a part of nature to lift them self-up the social ladder, but I never bullied one. I have been bullied all through school and I started to think of suicide. I didn’t do it, I took it to the principal and they tried to fix it through confrontation. it did not work and the bullying got worse. The end result was that I snapped, broke the nose to the bully and made his life miserable (he still fares me due to this and I regret it), the bullying stopped and I lost faith in the good of man

I have experienced it on my own on the basic school... and I have to say, that it was not nice, to wake up in the morning when you knew, that the guy is going to be in the classroom again and that he is actually going to do something to myself, again. And unfortunately... there was not just physical bullying, but mostly psychical and from a bigger group of people... which was much worse. Funny is, that only one person of those, is successful today.

I personally don't let anyone bully employees in stores I'm shopping at, whether its other customers or managers. It is kind of absurd how people think they can get away with publicly humiliating someone. I tell the bully that what they are doing is wrong and unacceptable and if they need to yell at someone to yell at me. If they say its none of my business, I say I'm MAKING it my business. To add to what boogie said, most bullies are cowards and they just walk away when challenged
