On The Trail: Tacoma TRD Off-Road Test at Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway

On this premier episode of On The Trail, we test out the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road model. For our testing we spent two days leading a group on the Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway while attending the 5th Annual Meet and Greet Ride in Slade, KY. The Meet and Greet is one of the largest organized 4wd trail riding events in the state. So, take a look and see how the Tacoma did.

That part of the tail called spaas creek is a really good test for sure. I live near where you went. My friend took his sr5 tundra on that trail. Do you think the Tacoma could have made it with just the elsd instead of the locker? I have the trd sport manual transmission tacoma and want to go on that trail but not sure if I should.

Tony, yes Spass creek was a good test. I think you would be okay with the lsd. The few spots I used the locker I think with some additional skinny peddle and one or two better lines you will be okay. I would of course not go alone and try to go during dry weather. All the water/mud holes have a hard bottom so your good there.

Could be shorter, a lot of unnecessary arranged scenes and sentences, not very dynamic camera work in the scenes. And the colors could be tweaked a bit in post-production. Little outdated

Unless you have not choice then buy a brand new ICE truck for off road in two month.... go for it, and enjoy. I have no need to up grade any of my ICE cars to any Brand New ICE cars. Again you do not have a choice.... as the ICE car manufacture s refused to make any EV off truck for what 100 year now.

@@Mako2-1 you should try Rivian, Rivian can make you a EV off TRUCK in two month. You go and check out their web site.... Rivian is offroad EV truck currently on the market and taking order. Now can you still tell me if I am still wrong about rivian EV offroad truck.
