Just looked up where they are manufactured. They are made in North Korea believe it or not. Been making tires since 1956. Got a set on my GMC . No complaints so far.

Got some on my Xterra 265/75/16 they look nice but after one off road trip which was really moderate I noticed some rubber rips from the thread . Is that normal ?

Possibly your alignment. I have the same on my 4runner and noticed some pieces coming off I do need another alignment so I wouldn’t put it passed that

Great review. I won't be getting them in spite of their obvious performance aspects and affordability. They are basically not a 37 in tire. I have Patagonia tires on now and they measure 36 and 3/4 inch tall when mounted on the vehicle. That's only 1/4 inch off scale of a 37 in tire (9in) wide wheel. When I want a 37 inch tire I don't want a 35 inch, and some change tire. That is my only gripe. My KO2s we're only 35 1/2 inch tire while they said it was a 37

@@kenjerro Actually I checked the specs as well, before I made the comment. Check again and you may see that in order to get the advertised numbers the tire is inflated to around 80 psi, the tire is mounted on a very narrow wheel to make the center of the tire rise, and the tire/wheel isn't bolted to a vehicle setting in the ground. All my measurements are made with the tire on the proper wheel, with drivable air pressure and with the tire on the vehicle. Using a level on the top of the tire with a tape measure reaching the ground with the tire on the vehicle is the way to measure tires 😉

They arent 12 ply theyre 10 ply. There "12 ply rated" but they are actually 10 ply tires.

Yea go to any description for them and read it. Says theyre 10 ply with something extra about the sidewall or something like that so they rated as 12 ply.

Theyre good tires though. 10 ply is more than enough.
