Poco was the most underrated band of all time. It’s all about timing sometimes. The Eagles made it, but don’t think they don’t appreciate the contribution Poco made. They paved the way man.

Totally Agree, While I like some of the Eagle's stuff, Poco was such a fresh sound, super vocals, great pickin' - wonderful songwriting! Saw Poco this February at the SWFL Event Center in Bonita Springs, FL. Rusty was amazing, as was Jack and the rest of the band too!

I have read where the Eagles did acknowledge Poco, Glenn Frey in particular, and considered them one of the bands they learned some things from. They all played the same clubs and knew each other well. Randy Meisner was a member of Poco for a while so there was some influence right there.

The Eagles made it because they had 2 members TBS and Randy Meisner of Poco not mention Joe Walsh Hensley and Fry

The Byrds were called America's answer to The Beatles and that kind of held all the way through and including Notorious Byrd Bros . And had Moby Grape been possessed by collective sanity and proper management, they had an assembled musical talent that made Buffalo Springfield look like Battle of the Bands contestants somewhere in middle America.

Funny. Jim did “Kind Woman” on the live “Sittin’ in Again” album in 2005. Seems odd that he would have many kind words for Richie in his introduction and then sing a song written by Richie when he is actually performing with Kenny Loggins at that show. I think they buried whatever hatchet existed many years before then It’s called foregiveness and renewal of friendship.

1979 saw the final Poco album, and to me, their absolute finest, as even now with all the sources, imesh, iTues, RealPlayer Network, and of course here, it's still a near impossible feat to acquire all those super cuts off the LEGEND Album, white, horse sketch and red eyes. Some soft, mellow tunes, and a couple of very intense driving rock tunes, perfection! I've that vinyl, had 4500+, wives come, albums go! A shame, a .5-.8gr. tracking shibata elipse AT cart. the 200 left are mint. Simi Valley!
