i always liked the scvs, i am very tempted by a king seiko, but which one, i haven't seen them in the flesh. however, I love baton hands,so I don't think those watches compete with the datejust for me. I always dreamed of a higher grade snxs, with a different case, no day, just a date ,same markers, or even no date 38mm !! all the watches I'm interested in have dauphine handsets, king seiko, alpinist alpinist....

I like that the new KS upgraded the movement, but undermined that by using a straight end-link bracelet. Such a gorgeous watch, but I have immense disdain for the 6R31 (and 35) movements.

Well, there's always the 6L35 powered SJE091 with a better movement and traditional endlinks

Let’s be real, these aren’t anything killers. Amazing watches, yes. Rolex “killers”, no.

If you value lower volume pieces with more human intervention, hand finishing, and ultra sharp details... yeah, that's pretty killer.

These are all better than Rolex.

Never going to part with my SARBs 017, 033 and 035. Never.

They're solid pieces 👌

I don’t like push pull. They couldn’t put in a screw down crown? I have the Snowflake and it is my daily driver. It is titanium and very light. There are plenty of beautiful GS watches with screw down crowns. Nice watch, but I would pass.

Disagree personally. The threading on the crown tube would wear down over time, especially if you unscrew it often for winding. I'd rather skip that altogether, but then again I don't really do anything remotely aquatic with my watches

Seems like an odd reason to pass on a dress watch but to each their own I guess

@AverageBros I have a push pull watch, and it is very hard to wind. Every time I wind it, I feel like I am destroying the seal. I don't wear the watch for that reason.

@@rickjason215sounds rough, the majority of watches have push/pull crowns and no issues though, so your experience seems more like an exception vs being the rule.
