My favorite GS, it is iconic, that dial is legendary, spring drive, amazingly polished titanium and you can swim with it or wear it at a wedding reception. A truly amazing GADA watch.

I prefer this to white birch. I've seen white birch in person and I was not impressed. It was silver (not white), and the texture on the dial was a bit excessive, making it feel busy, loud and even harder to read. I also did not like the 22mm lug width.

Absolutely doesn’t feel smaller, in my opinion. A smaller bezel expands the visual size of the dial. This is why divers feel smaller than dressy watches of the same size. Wore like a 42mm on my 7.25” wrist. It has 22mm lugs right? It is certainly light, but it wears way too big for a dressy watch

A thin bezel due to a larger dial that is pushed out to the edge of the case wears larger but this has a smaller dial and the bezel stops well short of the case edge, so to my eye, it wears smaller. Also only has 20mm lugs, maybe you're thinking of the White Birch?

Exactly! Dial diameter is not discussed as much as it should be when it comes to proportions. Dive watches often have a smaller dial diameter (thanks to the dive bezel), which enables a 42mm watch to appear smaller than a 40mm watch with no bezel.
