It's the same case and same movement as the Seizenn Dirty Dozen Mechanical Field Watch you reviewed 7 months ago. The movement is a Fanzhi M01X/M01D (CSM Tongji 17 jewels), 21600 bph, power reserve 40h. Accuracy between 4 and 6 second per day on mine. It is said that shock resitance is poor so it needs to be worn carefully. For the Pierre Paulin my preference goes to the salmon dial, it's a nice and classy watch for little money.

That looks like a crazy good value. Probably a seagull movement? Like the blue accents on the dial among most other aspects of this watch. Only thing I really don't like is the way the 6 is totally chopped. Just don't have any 6, rather than 30% of a 6.

FOD is on the buckle and FOD is another watch maker by the Merkur group, so they just grabbed a band form a different watch and put it on. I am love this watch and really like the copper color version of the dial.

Pierre Paulin was a furniture designer. He was never, afiak, involved in watch design. Nothing wrong with Merkur using his name since it's not trademarked, but there's no watch industry heritage or history

I have the salmon dial. Nice new packaging as mine came in a card board box. Watch is beautiful and is a nice size. The movement is not so good. Mine stopped working after 3 months. Probably why they don’t state which movement it is. It’s under guarantee and the brand will fix. However the cost of sending it back and the waiting time is not worth it considering the amount I paid. Therefore not a brand I would buy from again.

Be aware that the 36mm has a significantly different case style. That's hard to see because the web site doesn't automatically match the photo with the selected model.

Yeah. A display caseback would be nice for this watch. Also, I checked mine on a timegrapher and it was running +1s/day. That could be just good luck on my part, but it shows that the movement _can_ be accurate. I'm not sure about the longevity, but at this price why worry.
