On This Hill: Episode 12: YETI, Art, Convocation, and H-SC Socks!

We've had a great couple of weeks at Hampden-Sydney. Recently, we held our final Open House of the year featuring Kirk Zambetti '90 of YETI, we opened our art gallery for student artwork, we held final convocation, and finally, our guys got some cool socks!

You can do anything with a degree from Hampden-Sydney College. Kirk Zambetti '90 is proof of that. He got his degree in History from H-SC, and is currently the Senior Vice President of Sales for YETI. He gave a few remarks at our last Open House.
Our Fine Arts Department in Brinkley Hall held its annual student art exhibit. Artwork from students at all levels was displayed. After its recent renovation, Brinkley has become a welcomed addition to our students in the fine arts.
Our Alumni Office held an event for graduating seniors. There was bluegrass, free food, drinks, and a good time. Any senior who made a $10.00 donation to the annual fund received a sweet pair of Hampden-Sydney socks.
Finally, we held final convocation last week. It's always bittersweet, but we know our seniors are on to better things. They'll be missed.
