Thank you for picking up the trash! If only everyone thought like that 🌞🌞🌞 One thing I keep running across is the local kids partying in the outlying areas and burning wood pallets. They never take the time to pickup all of the nails left over so I carry around a heavy duty speaker magnet and use a bugee cord to drag the ground. I've picked up gallon ziplock bags full of pallet nails several times over the last few years. There's also a road to the right just south of Sedona with disbursed camping and above Sedona as well... Did you know that you can drive to the Colorado river? Off of Route 66 at Peach Springs - you have to get a permit at the gas station because it's tribal land but the canyon is a beautiful drive and the river is awesome. N.B. this is where they pull out the rafts so it can get busy.

There is a place called Red Rocks slides by Sedona. It is smooth red rocks that form long slides in a river. It was rated one of the 10 top best swim holes in the USA. It was beautiful and looked really fun and refreshing. Did the ranger mention it? I think the locals like to keep it a secret.

The scenery was almost as nice to see... as your smilin face :) you know all of us old ladies were having fun watching you on Blab a while back. I'm getting my campervan ready to roll soon. Gonna leave the Class A behind and venture out in the van. Then return to the Mother Ship. But if I think I can squeeze me and my 95 pound dog into the campervan, I might sell the Mother Ship. The van is obviously a camper. No stealth there. My biggest thing is that it might get too hot for my dog if I can't plug in my roof AC. So I'm gathering info on where to head during the spring and summer cuz Texas is so friggen hot and humid. How do you stay cool in ur van? What areas should I put on my summer list. Low humidity and cheap. :)
