Fantastic filming skills and the lights! It's almost magical what you filmed using that old photo wallpaper!!😂😂 -No, no, try to enjoy and grab that moments when doing things for the first time or leaving you behind like a child speechless and standing somewhere just amazed with your mouth open. They become less and not that intensive anymore the older you get. They are not only, but also can be little parts of a satisfied life, especially nowadays. Oje, "deep thoughts" and no 42 or towel in the comment.😁 Slide on!

That was gorgeous. I’m going to watch this two more times. It’s just breath taking. I wear shorts almost all year,so I thought the sliders was cute.

2 things. Jacob is a trendsetter - slides at the Zugspitze. A small throwback, Mariann throw the snow ball like me 25 years back at the Bundesjugendspiele. =)

I couldn’t throw harder. He stood right in front of me and had his most precious thing in his hand - his camera. What kind of girl would I be to harm his true love!?🤷🏼♀️😂

the summit of the Zugspitze was actually "donated" to Germany by Austria - makes them happy, and we got way better, anyway. so no big deal.

An off the wall question: in such weather how cold does your nose ring feel? And does it sting a bit? At 12:31, the scrolling sign above the door: "Please visit out interaktive museum." English...but with a German garnish.

You are the first person I know wearing slides on the Zugspitze. I bought me hiking boots before I went up there. I thought I caught a glimpse of the weather station they have up there. It's the highest in Germany, of course, because it's on the highest mountain. They do a lot of interesting research there, but I wonder whether it's still manned in winter. I remember an article in a science magazine where they said it would be fully computerized and remote controlled, but I can't imagine how sensible instruments should work for months under these conditions without maintenance. And, snow, yes, that's a thing that can only fascinate people from countries where there usually is no snow. To me, being from a mountainous region of Bavaria, snow is no good. First, you have the risk of sliding and hurting yourself. Second, you have to shovel that white s**t out of your driveway. And third, you need expensive winter tires for your car, because the cheap ones aren't good for anything. One advantage, however, snow has: Bavarian police once caught two thieves because they left their footprints in the snow. They were 13 and 14 years old, respectively, and were handed over to their parents.

Been there, done that. Some 30+ years ago. And you were lucky that it did NOT snow. What are a few snowflakes compared to THAT view?
