Plastic is not the best material for snow shovels anyway, plastic gets brittle because of the cold. Best is plywood with a metal edge. It is lightweight and does not bend at all.

WOW!!! You have A LOT of snow for that part of Germany!! We used to see that much all the time in Munich ... but where you are ... it's NOT supposed to snow like that!! Anyway, we have about 2 inches on the ground here in central Virginia ... & I am considering crawling back under my bed covers until Spring arrives!! I think that hibernation is the best way to get through Winter!!!

7:20 Somehow this reminded me the last time we had so much snow, about 15 years ago. We had then a young, but sturdy tomcat who decided to construct paths through the snow for his siblings. He plowed into the snow and used his breast to push the snow out of the way until he came to the hedge, where he encountered a snow drift. So he had to build a tunnel through it. He loved snow his whole life, an he did not freeze because he had the fur of a sea lion: water-repellent, sunlight absorbing, air-insulated. His favorite game was to catch snowballs out of the air. I still miss him, especially in a winter like this.

I've been stuck in Berlin for 6 months. I love Berlin! Last lockdown I was stuck in Lisbon for 6 months. Lisbon was warmer but not as nice.

For the felt temperatue there are some important numbers, which is not the temperature. I personally HATE cold weather, when its windy or there is high humidity. Them I'm forced to feel the temperature

In germany we say: Eine gute Schneeschaufel ist aus Kruppstahl. And i think that is a fact. 🤭 Sometimes we are fast like Windhunde. 🙄🙄😂😂😂 The kart race at the check out is really cool, sometimes. A fried of me work for ALDI. He said, some days ago a old white granny rebuild her stuff back in the kart and run to the new open check out. She thought, that goes faster. My friend did his job really chilled. Her first check out position was at the end 3 customers faster. 😂😂😂
