Intéressant! J'aimerais l'amener à Mont tremblant aussi

Getting one of these soon I can't wait! Was gonna pick up a GR Corolla and Toyota wanted 11% APR I laughed so hard I almost fell outa my chair.

@@CamelSmokes23 I looked at a GR as well. Nearly went for one as I live in eastern canada and could really have used the AWD system in the winter, but it came out too expensive, and the rear diff has a severe overheating issue on track, which really turned me off.

This is a way nicer car than a Corolla
@sleepy.a31953 ай бұрын
@@mharro88 in some aspects yes, but the Corolla has a lot going for it as well. That AWD system is no joke especially in regions that get proper winters.

Well that was to watch ! First time at Tremblant , but you know your stuff! Pretty brave using the wet curbs!😮 Anyhoo, maybe you didn’t do the Octane Learning thing because I could only see 17 on the boost, when you have could have access to 20. Well done!

Correction :Fun to watch!

@@Shardik2009 Thanks! I have a LOT of seat time on the simulator on this track, which helped immensely. Octane Learning has been really inconsistent for me. Even with 94 (highest grade we get here) I’ve never been able to get it past 18psi. Even if I follow one of the procedures to the letter, half of the time it doesn’t work. It seems really random, which is frustrating when trying to chase and compare lap times. Most often I fuel up directly before going to the track, leaving me little time to do the procedure (highway driving has been the one that works best for me).

To reset boost: Try to fill up at least 10k from the track. Short-shift as much as possible on the way to way. I managed 20….but kinda useless since now I drive at 8/10ths!! Haha! I have friends who started with Sim racing and they do well! But driving in the wet, is no joke. I’m a rain driver and have seen a lot of not so good things! Better to stay off slick curbs and don’t lift.

@@Shardik2009 I’ll give that a shot. I typically fill up either in Saint Janvier or Saint Jerome before going to Icar, so should leave me enough space. I love driving in the wet. I’m not a perfect driver by any means, but it does really show who can drive and who can’t. Was super happy about the fact that I was able to get consistent lap times throughout the day.
