On Zion's Glorious Summit Stood - World Discipleship Summit (WDS) 2012

Just over 10 years ago at the WDS for the ICOC family of churches in San Antonio. This recording just has the singer microphones - but hearing the 18K voices all around singing was an unforgettable moment.

Amazing song, so surreal. After much searching I learned this was originally written with 11+ verses. For unknown reasons it did not include the verse “On Zion’s Glorious Summit Stood.” I love this song so much, I searched high and low to find this. If you are reading this I’m sure you feel the same way!! Here they are: Original title: THE SONG OF THE REDEEMED IN HEAVEN. 1 BEHOLD the saints beloved of God! This is a favorite memory of mine. The sound of that last note being sung, the crescendo, the fade -- 17,000 people in quiet worship on unison together. It was amazing. I sang under Marcus's direction in Houston for a few years earlier. How wonderful to see this moment here for me to revisit. Thank you Brian.
