on zzr 250

I bought a ZZR250 in April 2013. I took it for its MOT and it passed with no advisories. Not bad for a machine built in 1991. I had a ZZR250 in 2000 for nearly two years and in all the time I had it, I never had to spend much to keep it on the road. The ZZR250s are good reliable and economical bikes that are fun to ride. I would recommend one to anyone. Down side, my one puffs a bit of smoke when I start it up and rev it to the red line.

Not sure about the ZZR, but the Ninja 250R (and others) have a positive neutral finder where you only click up to neutral if you aren't moving.

Yes, that is right, I think most of Kawasaki's have this, but I too am unsure about the ZZR

the camera angle wasn't good..I adjusted it on next trial... so you should also see "on zzr 250 part2" & "on zzr 250 part3" ... :)))

Yes as far as I know every bike's gear is the same as you wrote for 1 st push down, push up for neutral.... 6 gears..and yes I use the clutch everytime..

Im not sure about the speedo on the bike shown. Little old ladies in old cars are slowing down with their brake lights on. The bike only just goes faster not by much as indicated.

well woteva the book sez i was definatly doin 170. maybe it was a slight downhill or maybe there was a tail wind but it was 170

The rpm in top gear are 12kph/1000rpm. You can change by putting a smaller front cog or larger back cog,I think it's a high revver,maybe a bigger front cog is better,it's got the power. Then it will rev lower at the same speed. Gaz. (Self proclaimed expert).

bike engines amaze me i have the same bike it only starts to red line at 14 000 rpm thats 233 revolutions per second how a engine can do that and not ware for years is beyond me

@Trafalgar76 = read some webs.... is a legendary 4 stroke... and btw... the Suzuki RGV is a 250 2 strokes and makes almost 200kph.... really you need to learn before talk...

djshopping no hay que ponerse así por un error, sonaba a 2 tiempos y creía que era una dos tiempos, además sé que éstas corren como un demonio, como la mítica RD 350cc, el problema es que de frenada iba muy mal para esos 75 CV

a cbr250rr is faster cause it has 2 more cylinders and it was bred for race rr (race replica) and they don't make them anymore. the only 250cc bikes out there that are faster than the ninja 250 (in production) are 250cc 2 stroke dirtbikes (~45hp) and v twin 2 strokes (aprilia rs250 and suzuki rgv250). nothing 4 stroke beats this bike in the same cc
