Onaga has such big bad energy I hope we see him again. I remember being a kid my brother and I were left with our Jaws on the floor by how this dude just tanked all the attacks from Raiden and the Deadly Alliance, AND he tanked Raidens Self destruction. This dude was top fucking tier. and getting to him on the Ladder was extremely terrifying. He'd smash your shit in constantly.

The most horrifying part about Onaga is his great mastery on Necromancy and his peak power level was nearly on the level of The One Being(possibly being a Titan) which all of the Elder Gods were so afraid of Onaga's potential.

In game though Onaga was a bitch. Some of the regular kombatants in the tower up were harder than him. Just go around the outside rim of the level and walk into the random Kamidogu spread throughout and Onaga will be stunned when you do this. Then unleash your longest kombo. Rinse and repeat until he's dead. Now I just want to play Deception Konquest mode.

Seems another effort on Liu Kang's part to neutralize a malefactor; since Onaga was simply captured instead of poisoned and killed, his soul was never able to roam free and manipulate Shujinko or some other sap. This is why I hate the multiple timelines thing. They changed too many big details about some of their characters.
