The brass masala dabba is nice, but why did you not include an upper plate below the lid? It is so convenient to have several whole spices in the upper plate, in addition to the seven spices that are in their own cups. Do you have a version with a plate in it? I would like one. Also, do you ship to the United States of America? Your clay kadai, and your all cast iron combo look excellent. zishta.com/en/catalog/product/view/id/416/category/151/

Happy Onam . Gita Ma’m ! Thank you. I want to let you know that the moong Dal idli became a favorite item in my family. I made a slight variation by adding half cup rice, and half cup soji also. It is 16 idlis with this measure and very tasty with your tomato gravy which you made in the same recipe. I made twice this week already. Thank you so much...💖

Your cooking style is super.🙏🌹🌺🌷🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 But preparation of Pulinji is entirely different from our mode of cooking. First boil the tamirind juice with sufficient chilly powder, turmeric powder. Before getting into a thick paste, add jaggery, stir well . When it becomes thick, remove from the fire. Seasoning----Add mustard seeds, dried red chilies, , curry leaves etc to hot coconut oil .Then add chopped green chilies, & ginger into hot oil fry them until they become brown. Add these mix to tamirind paste. Add salt to taste. Pulinji is a thick curry.

Nice of you aunty to share Kerala cooking. Can I suggest some changes in the moong dal payasam.traditionally we dey roast the dal before cooking.then we add the melted jaggery into the dal in an uruli and let the water in the mixture to boil then we add ghee to the mixture and keep stirring till the ghee separates next we add the first milk of coconut and switch off stove when tiny bubbles appear ....not to boil too much.lastly add cashews or coconut pieces sautés in ghee and powdered cardamom.this payasam is my favourite and the taste is awesome if made this way but time consuming so we prepare the part till halwa like stage the previous day
