Cutting cabin notches

How are the misure of the jig? Can you show us how you make a log jig?

That jig though! You must have tested it on some logs and adjusted it until you got the perfect fitment? I've never built a log cabin but this seems to be the best solution I've seen! Thank you

what are those little spacers attached to the bar to keep you from ruining the jig? They would be necessary to cut like this. I can see them when you move around but not enough to figure them out.

I think they are to keep the chain from cutting up the jig. Otherwise a chainsaw blade would gouge up and cut the jig as you try to slide it along the jig.

Ripping with a crosscut chain will not damage the chain. It's just a little less efficient.
