I think being in open air was key. His starts were great and as he said post race to his crew (shown in our other vid from the event), he had a very good car. I feel that maybe a handful of guys could have won had they been in open air, but even his nearest rival in McHugh didn't have great take off from the start/restarts, so I'm not sure they would've been able to defend or stretch the lead once going green like Goodyer could and did.
