@@BergenBusDriver Something I do as a bus driver in north scotland when people repeatedly press the bell is either one of two things. If I have snacks with me, if someone presses it on the 3rd time and no one gets off, I get out one of the snacks and start to eat it. then I proceed after finishing it. That usually stops them. This one I use for the school bus. The other one however is on the 2nd time the bell is pressed, I tell everyone that next time someone presses the bell and no one gets off, someone will be getting off or the bus wont move. Usually that stops them, but if it does not you go though with what you said and you sit there & wait until someone gets off. This also stops it happening with the same crowed of people in future. But you have to be careful with when you decide to use it.

Shame on them. Some people truly don't know how to behave, they don't respect others.. Ah, you know those people. They did this and were so brave because they were in a group. :) They didn't even think what they did disturbed you during driving a heavy vehicle full of people - and you were responsible for passanger's safety! I am respectful and thankful for all bus/tram/taxi drivers and I appreciate what they do. Their job is so responsible, yet so annoying and irritating sometimes, due to such passangers, or simply traffic jams and stressful moments on road. And they deliver us to schools and work every day, 24/7/365. Thank you for the video, you seem to be a very nice guy & very professional driver :) Warm regards from Poland

I’m a bus driver in 🇬🇧 🏴 Your roads seem so much better kept the bus is smooth even though it’s a man but you are allowed radios wow it’s illegal in uk as could cause distraction apparently Also you don’t have to take cash or issue tickets just drive seems more like a coach driving job What are the wages like and is your domestic hours like ours we can drive a bus for 5h30m no break then only have 30mins and do another 4.5hr It’s tiring compared to eu rules which we use on coaches and lorries here
@BergenBusDriverАй бұрын
Oh really? No radio? It must be a pretty boring day without music! The rules regarding breaks are the same. We also have money with us, but we rarely take it out because most people pay via mobile application. As for wages, if you add up the basic hourly rate + bonuses, it comes to about NOK 500k per year, or even more, depending on overtime!
@-M0LEАй бұрын
@ yes it does become boring but I like listening to the passengers talking or if lucky singing would be nice to have a radio as keeps passengers more upbeat too although I usually wear an AirPod although this is not allowed I don’t care plenty more jobs if they wanna fire you the uk is desperate for bus and lorry drivers massive shortage here Your wages seem to be about £5-10k more than us and no bonuses at all in majority of companies in fact the wage is different all across uk and some places are very close to the minimum wage and from next year will be even closer in fact some or most shop workers earn the same or more 👍
