Enjoying your trip but I can’t stop thinking about how nice the boat looks and everything you have done to it over the years. What a great job you three have done. The galley is amazing (as are the meals prepared there) and the transformation everywhere else is unreal. Like the custom hardtop and helm station….the cockpit…windows…rigging…sails…on and on. That doesn’t even touch all the hidden perfectly organized details behind it all. Simply beautiful.

Last night mid south USA had tornados..much destruction 100 people or more? loss of life…so in contrast yous are in earthly heaven. Good catch. Fish cakes with veg. inside ..complete nutrition meal alright. Cranberry sauce with it would be tasty…organic garlic…oh red wine..cute little town. Friendly doggies. Beautiful to see it from the ocean I drove down to La Paz in the 70's and then put my van on a ferry over to Mazatlan and then over to the Yucatan and back home by way of Puerto Vallartao to Cabo and then back home to Orange County. I hope the rest of your trip is safe and enjoyable.

Teal needs a heavier salt water fishing setup. Personal suggestion, get a Shimano Tiagra TI50A or TLD50IIA reel on a properly sized rod. They can hold much heavier line and have more line capacity for dealing with larger fish that may take hours to land.

Just a thought, when I saw your new dinghy engine, I thought about Collin from Parlay revival getting his new one. The first thing he did was sand down and scuff up the cover on it to make it look like an old one that wouldn't be enticing to steal. That made so much sense especially after Tula's endless summer a couple years ago came back to NO engine on their motor from a walk about town. I know this would be very hard for you Teal to do, but it could save your new engine from wandering off.

How about an old faded scuffed cover ... Best of both and chain locking it to the transom 😉 deters interest from a distance and if they do take an interest they have to have serious tools or take the lot. And the dingy is marked... Phone based trackers are very cheap as well, but in Mexico it depends where, why and who's doing the stealing.

@@clivestainlesssteelwomble7665 The problem isn't the dinghy being stolen, but the engine to the dinghy. Sometimes when on the boat, but the leave it on beaches and docks all the time unattended to. There are systems for locking the engine to the dinghy though.

Bahia Tortuga has certainly changed since I was there 23 years ago. There were no paved road or structures other than a few shelters for fishermen. The weather looks great for sailing. Enjoy your journey.

Yes, we don't like to refill directly into our tanks. We fill our Jerry cans, do a visual inspection then filter it through our Baja filter. No issues so far. 👌

Man, it totally looks like your anchor chain and swivel rub against your front cross bar. I can see that your anchor doesn't hit when it's fully up and put away but when you were hoisting it up, it looks like it was rubbing. I wonder what you do when you have to drag the mud off of your anchor when your moving forward.

I have a feeling that's her plan..For sure I wouldn't take little compass on shore either like someone said.. it must be like deja vue for the two of you and must be a neat experience for emma too that youre all officially on the path of yourselvs once again old tour of Mexico but this time with emma. That is pretty far out and so far away ...just how many nautical miles from where you started and to where you are now and to where ever whenever you want to go is on the charts... What a dreamy life and in perfect weather ... You have a day or two to dream I'd say ..... Looking high above the sea a sky of blue far abounds.. where high does float a little cloud. ... Filled with the sound of 🎻 s are found... And Emma and compass watching down.. upon a beautiful white ship floating around...over water over ground under sky and onward bound... You can't ask for much more soaking up the skys and warm weather 🐟 ing guys, just be carefull swimming too far out , that looked pretty far out Emma.. I'm like linh dark or deep waters are spooky... Like one honary crew member said 🐟 attract fish and I think only of barracudas at that point which next to piranha or shark are just as vicious .. not a good way to go... I snorkled off Catalina once and all I could think of was a big shark with an extra big smile would appear any second. .. anyway those fish have teal to look out for now and it looks like he's got it down with his favorite rod and reel ...all in the wrist teal as they say. Happy merry early Christmas everyone. Don't forget to eat all of your yummy meals everybody while Im quite sure Emma doesn't have to be reminded. Fair winds and sail on pass the 🌞 teal , your boat is so beautiful , it practically glows in this beautifúl sunset at dinner. What a beautiful combination of colors that would be to paint you two , the perfect challenge for the two artists. And to the highest bidder it will go. One final thought everyone. Remember to keep sv basik in your thoughts and prayers and for every dream we all may see through teal linh and Emma's eyes may it be.
