I am starting the same thing by doing a side hustle while working full time cfo job. Will work in the business full time until I have about ten clients and can transition out of my job. The company has changed a lot and don’t neeed a full time cfo anymore so it works for them too . Il always thought about it but it’s hard to start from zero and abandon a cfo salary but if I can work out on the side so when i decide to go full time I a bit starting zero it makes it less stressful for paying the bills. There is a huge amount of need for our services

Congratulations and thank you for sharing your success. I'm curious about how you got your clients. What methods did u use? I opened a bookkeeping business, just to find out that small business owners can't afford to pay my fee and the big businesses have employees. It is very hard to get new clients. I can't stand making cold calls and can't afford to pay for advertising.

Business advisory can include CFO services. I’d say it’s a larger umbrella that CFO services sit under.
