I figured out why my roof didn't work. I must have had my base at its max hight and 2 coners wouldn't click together. I moved l9cation tried to build it again and it worked im made up. Love to see a updated tour of your base tho with all your animals and stuff. Great work as always 👏 👍

Love this Base had step down porches and Garage last season. This Season I incorporated the pens in with my deviant room on second floor. Set up a Croc Pen in the water for my buddy Crocket my S-Gator. A Garage in the back !! Love this Base, thanks for sharing it.

I build this base during the first season. I didn’t like the stairs and the round shape of the building can cause disorientation while running down the stairs. Other than that, I liked how practical it is.

@@iurutanyensa I found putting neon signs at the exit door and on opposite walls of each floor was a good way at quick glance to find my bearings quickly

I think the biggest problem of this base design is all the stuff goes near the external walls. Trying to work on a similar design but with everything centered ofc with 6 animals + 75 - 100 crops + the possibility to have fuel or acide farm if needed. Have 4 characters now but a main base regrouping most of things and being a defensive base for PvP Cortex and potiential pvp raids is interesting. Had this problem during a Cortex when the Bar progression was bugged, so i lost time going to check if something went wrong and an umbrella ennemy came and destroy a small part of the base with his raining spell which destroyed things that were near those walls. With turrets + 10-15 nutcrackers + 6 bears i guess it wont be an issue anymore but having an electric room centered and keeping the general circle aspect of the base is good i think. Still building only with triangles is a big loss in term of space and structures numbers. Overall a good design without the bug the old structure can have 6 animals + 78 plots + a fuel farm + everything you need Sadly animals being bugged cause some issues with turrets or animals going under the base.

@@MishaXG I run territory purification every week with this base full 40 stones all tier 3 at the same time which is the hardest u can possibly do and the enemies don’t even reach the front steps. Once everything is fully upgraded to tier three u never have to worry about your base walls even getting touched so having stuff along the walls doesn’t matter.

@@krimzen9927 u used to be able to just replace a piece that was already built with a new material but it was changed for some reason now u have to do it manually. What I recommend is building multiple versions of ur base in each material type and save the final build for each as a blueprint that way at each phase of the game u can just delete ur base and build it back up with the new material a bit faster

Pro survival base building game tip. Triangles = more shit to destroy.. So if I blow up one wall I might take a bunch of walls down.. Triangles, limits or even zeros out the possibility of taking out an entire wall/couple walls with one destroy.. vs big walls etc etc dropping entire parts of the building.

yeah the tolerances have become very tricky after the latest patch i told the devs about it. its rly annoying. i had to build a temp staircase to get on top on the center roof and manually place them in player view mode. the fly mode from bottom level wasn't working well.

Okay so I tried out the base, specifically because my hive needed me to do purifications, and i'm having issues. Your turrets always seem super high off the ground, which means they can't shoot ground targets because the turrets can't aim down. And even when I built super low to the ground, like 95% of the placeable area isn't even so only half the turrets work because they are low enough. Also, your super cool ceiling seem to not want to work at all for me no matter where I place my cursor Thoughts?

@@DaddyMasterSirx only advice depending on ur area is to just raise ur initial foundation heights so everything g is above ground level on all sides

but how did you manage to put all the stuff like the workbench exactly the way you did, it doesn't work the same anymore it'll just force me to occupy the triangle space, either they're sideways or slightly facing left/right

I've had this problem before. It seems to be based on the direction of the triangle pieces. The wood triangle pieces are a good example. The orientation of the planks matter. Orient the triangle piece so that the planks are going to same direction as the front of the object you're placing.

You can hit CAPS LOCK to turn off the new grid-based system and revert to the old one. I recommend that for placing furniture and stuff.

not really for this build because its not a square u cant use the square blocks no way to have them do the Hexagon without allowing them to clip

u cannot build this base with square foundations its impossible triangles is the only way to get this shape. that being said triangle count as 1 and squares count as 1 so u will technically be spending slightly more points using triangle structures. in the end its all preference i just like the shape and the build is compact enough to handle it all with points to spare

so not sure why the games building system is so dang buggy but i will say i had almost the full build but the greenhouse part was being dumb and 1 part of the roof the inv cone block in 1 spot only wouldn't let me place it so i made my own pattern XD kind of wish they would fix there building system for once human

Yeah that's exactly what I've done. Did my first purification on the hard mode server. I was lvl 20 vs the max level mobs. Living on the water I was able to ignore all the melee which is probably the only reason my base wasn't totally destroyed/I was successful 😂😂😂
