Sorry that this didn't seem to be your jam! I played the demo very, very reluctantly as two friends were enthusing over it, only to get about 10 hours into it and suddenly realize I was having a fantastic time and loved the game. IMO, it's a slow start from an orientation perspective. If you like lore or the Lovecraftian setting (both of which I do very much), that will carry the first couple of hours, but if you don't care about story and don't love cosmic horror, it's a *very* steep climb for the systems to start making sense. A better tutorial and simplifying the frankly ridiculous number of menus would do the game a lot of favors when it comes to an early-game player hook. Once you get into it, the game feels like a weird mix of The Division, Palworld, The Secret World, and Fallout, lol!

Even it feels cheap in some areas i did have fun in the beta and met some cool players that we will be playing together at launch , i enjoy the building in this game

Played about 40 hours over the week of the demo and had a fantastic time. The only drawback to me is it was very easy, there was very little challenging content which I hope they alter for release. It’s got some confusing systems and the ui is poorly designed but I was really impressed with the amount of content for a demo. Looking forward to full release in the 9th.

So we can play a dude in white underwear, carrying an outerspace backpack made to transport a baby, using a covid mask and a machete that kills aliens with 3 swings, and we can also use suitcases full of money with teeth to attack? This game makes total sense.

I played 61 hours during the demo; just beat the 3rd boss before the servers went down. Now I'm drying out, I don't want to play anything else yet I can't for another 3 weeks. My only gripe is the planned wipe every 6 weeks.

You still keep your blueprints, but the character level and map exploration is wiped every new season, which has a new story or event server wide for the severs chosen story.

@@jacobxiong2739 still feels like it's a little short. How long between these stories or events? Coming up with new stuff every six weeks sounds like quite a feat . And six weeks might be short for some percentage to fully appreciate it

I felt the same way, everybody overhyping it, and I thought it was mid at best. Need a lot of polish still, animations are bad. It has some cool ideas tho.

I couldn't get into the game. I got hit with warnings from my pc constantly and all the servers were filled. I'm not about that life so I skipped it.

@@MysteriousVampLover Something about the anti-cheat being unable to do something unless I disabled my antivirus. I have Malwarebytes just to catch stuff from mods I download and server 1 is full, we recommend 4 - 8. server 4 is full we recommend 9 - 11 server 9 is full we recommend 12 - 14. which is where I quit.
