I gotta say though, Robert Carlyle is a brilliant performer. Where other villains fall flat in entire arcs (LOL the Dark Swan or Dark Hook), he TERRIFIES with just one glance, he doesn't even have to say a word. The problem is that that's also why they keep going back to him to get a villain with actual gravitas and destroy all the progress he has made.

Yes! I loved the show, but I was so frustrated with how they treated Regina that I often ended up feeling angry and frustrated after each episode. It just wasnt healthy for me to keep watching all these people who try to change get knocked down, while the 'good' characters get away almost scott free.

People keep saying that. That this is the same old thing done time and time again, but I honestly see this as being different. Because, this time Belle is not there to excuse his actions and I think that's what driving him mad. Because, much like the Evil Queen, he has no one; And I mean literally no one. At least all those hundreds of years ago, he was motivated to be reunited with his son and actually have someone again. Then, he had Belle and then Henry. But now, his sons' dead, Belle hates him and Henry wants virtually nothing to do with him. This has made Rumple a desperate man and desperate people do very risky and half-minded things.

I've been watching this serial for a long time and as far as the plot was moving I felt that I love Rumpel more and more. I was fastinated with his complicated character, his intelligence, his deals which had such good secret meanings. At first I liked him only for this. But then his past appeared and I was like: "OMG, It's just perfect for him." I wanted soooooo much to see Rumpel and Bell together, after watching amazing Bella's influence on him.I could forgive him EVERYTHING. I was crying when he couldn't fight his bad sight, and my eyes were full of tears when Bell with the dagger told him to go threw the barrier and never come back. My heart was totalny broken, I couldn't calm down for many days. Why it's so hard for me to accept this relaction which probably can't be fixed? Cause I don't fill like Rumpel is simple villiant, he thinks he is doing right thing, he's never done anything for himself but for people he loves. And even if he needs this love for himself- he's never got one. Obviously he puts his powers on the first place and I can't defend him at this point but I feel like he has lived too long with his magic. That's selfish but with it he feels he can protect prople he loves. He wanted his son be free from danger of war and that's what made him the Dark One. I thought I'll maybe let it go, that I won't care and I'll think about him as a bad character. But I can't. I just can't. I can't stop hoping that there will be some change. My heart is crushed. I almoust freeked out when I thought that Bella might see Rumpel's and Evil Queen's kisses because his affection is the most presious thing he has. I can see the ice in Bella's eyes and desperaction in Rumpel's look. He is catching every chance for returning old love. He is able to pay every cost ( isn't it always like that?) but I can see now he will really, really regret it. He is alone and desperated. I can't do anything with fact that I'll always love him, and I'll always cry if he falls.

Two theories how this episode plays out1) Rumple fucked up big time by speeding up Belle's pregnancy and is after the Evil Queen for not killing Zelena because despite being Regina's worst self actually learns she doesn't want to lose another family member like when she killed her dad2) Evil Queen is actually behind Belle's pregnancy rush as revenge for Rumple trying to get her to kill Zelena, and not he's after her

You know what gets to me the most about this promo video? The brief elevator scene, where it looks like Belle is trying to hide and Rumple stops the door from closing. She looks terrified. And it brings back memories for me, of season 2 when Hook was trying to kill her and she hid inside the elevator. Luckily, Rumple came along and she rushed right out of the elevator into his arms. This time it looks like it's completely reversed and HE'S the threat. That's really freaking sad, guys. It's sad how much she once trusted him, and now he's become her enemy. I'm almost dreading this episode.

Always enjoy the Rumple-centered episodes, for he is my favorite character since season 1. Definitely looking forward to this, but I still say this show is fixing to wrap up soon. If not Season 6, then I think Season 7 will be it. From what I've read, the ratings HAVE NOT been looking good, so the writers may want to get the ending together sooner than later, before ABC pulls the plug and we never get to see how these stories play out.

So how do you guys think they will be playing out Robin? I've got a theory he'll be Regina's guardian angel where they will be able to communicate whether it be in Regina's dream or in real time. He'll tell her he's alright and he wants Regina to move on and continue to love and help the people around her. Continue being a good mother to Henry and be there for Roland if Roland comes back or if she finds him in the Enchanted Forest. Maybe since he'll be in multiple episodes, maybe he'll be giving Regina advice on what to do throughout each episode or something.

drlee2 The original main characters also included Graham (the first character on the show to die), Archie (no longer a main character), and August (he's finally returning after being absent all last season). Season 2 added Ruby, Belle, and Hook. Hook was never in Season 1, and Belle only appeared towards the end of Season 1. Ruby was more notable in Season 1 than both of them as a huge recurring character, who is now no longer on the show (though she's still alive). Admittedly, most of the characters who are still series regulars were introduced in the first two seasons. But I think that's why now is likely a good time to finally kill off Rumple (assuming the show goes beyond Season 6).
