Really liked it but our 70mm movie got changed to digital at the last minute cause the projector broke. I think Tarantino's obsession ended up with the movie having maybe too much feet. The acting was great.

I loved it. The music, the feel of 1969 Hollywood, the commercials. The billboards Funny Girl, George Putnam etc. It took me back to when I was a little kid. I loved how the story diverged from reality, it made the story rather sad after all that laughter, thinking about what might have been. Then I had to laugh again at the cigarette as in the credits.

2 things : The tension building leading to nothing was bad. Blue balls. When Brad goes to the Ranch and checks up on the old man and everything is ok... ??? Then Tex rides back to see what's up and Brad is gone ??? That's not normal. The climax was too short. Tell me nobody expected a second wave led by Manson. I don't mind the rewritting history but you need to go all the way.
@markdelgado24064 жыл бұрын
I actually loved that subversion of expectation, made me crack up. Tex riding up and Brad Pitts character being gone is fine with me especially because it builds toward the climax and what would really happen with the encounter? And the climax itself was great and I guess I’m the one to tell you that I wasn’t expecting Manson to come at all. He was absent through most of the film so why would he come with a second wave? I loved the film and could confidently say it’s my favorite film of the year so far. Hoping Joker can top it though.

1) she's not doing Tamara's never seen anymore, moron. She said it in the last one. 2) enough of everyone pestering her with obnoxious shitty requests, #3) Flash Gordon was an unwatchable piece of shit. Why should it be experienced by anyone? How does watching a terrible piece of shit make anyone more knowledgeable on the history of movies or the ones that truly matter, the ones that made things as they are or set new standards or pushed boundaries or propelled the medium in one way or another? Why does everyone have this mentality of "I watched it, and since I don't know much else, that makes THIS a "must-watch!"?

@@ThreadBomb I like how you call me an asshole while spamming her comments section (like so many other people here) with unsolicited requests. And more importantly, that's not answering the third (and most important) point of my first reply directly pertaining to your comment. You said "it should be experienced by all film buffs" and I was asking, rather abrasively, I understand, but it is a genuine question that I would like you to elaborate upon - Why should it be experienced by anyone? How does watching THIS, of all the things out there in existence, of all the potentially 100's of thousands of titles you're unaware of, make anyone more knowledgeable on the history of movies or the ones that truly matter, the ones that made things as they are or set new standards or pushed boundaries or propelled the medium in one way or another? Your only reply was "Because it's unique and a ton of fun" which is simply your opinion and not fact (and it doesn't matter what you "think" she would like). Please keep your simple amusement out of it and elaborate, with examples, on what actual basis you have for seeing fit to "request" it of her. Thank you. I love Tarantino...but I will never watch this again. While DiCaprio & Pitt were funny, this film had no plot, no drama, no tension, and was just meandering around LA in 1969 with the Manson Family as an underdeveloped waste of time. There wasn’t even Tarantino’s usual riveting dialogue, what a disappointment.
