Man, we are no yogis. Stop using technology instead of talking about becomming supernatural. We need a religion of love- Jesus and well understood christianity. I've meet some manager from india talking that stuff. On the one hand they are rich and on the other hand they say s.th. about spirituality. Where in this lie is the point to stand back from own aims to help other people? Best regards

Any likes for a reminder and encouragement will be appreciated 🙏🥰 Edit: This comment thread was a great reminder to me that there will always be negativity and judgement pointed in your direction when you put yourself out there. Focus on the positive and keep it moving. Thank you for the encouragement from the bottom of my heart for those who left a positive comment! 🙏❤️

@LucaRedTarot Monks spend years doing breath and meditation to connect to source. There are easier ways to get connected but no easy way to stay connected. It is common now for Americans to travel into Amazon rain forest to participate in Ayahuasca ceremony. This plant exp. Will violently throw you into the middle of source energy making you aware we are all connected. Weird that these same people forget the love they were shown 6 months later and need to go back over and over. I stumbled onto source energy by going to many Ketamine treatments. They were expensive. I seen a study about Dextromethorphan hbr working the same way in the brain as ketamine, being a dissociating effect. Dextro hbr is just Robitussin cough. You can buy that ingredient alone. I started measuring dosage and effect while practicing breath work and meditation. After 4 months all of a sudden I started seeing all these crazy synchronicity in everything. I thought I was going crazy. I noticed I no longer thought for myself. My thinking became subconscious. I woke each day and kept my dosage the same while still practicing breath and meditation. I have now gotten to where I can let source flow through me and think for me. I have an awareness and a knowing of who we are, who I am and we are spiritual beings living a temporary physical life to experience everything ✨️ The more people find out about this the quicker we fix our messed up society. Also look into Amanita Muscaria 🍄 looks just like that. Supposed to work the same way. I have not tried yet but going to start micro dosing it soon. Peace and love

(TLDR: this is the secret energetics of shaolin based qigong and hatha yoga). First. You have to fill up the body with yang chi. You have to understand something. You can control yang chi with your mind, kind of like an etch-a-sketch, the point of mental focus acts like a magnet for yang chi, but you cant control yin chi. Yin chi is gathered in your body automatically (usually while sleeping) to balance out the yang chi as the 2 are opposite charge. That is why you feel so "charged up" after yoga or qigong, but then feel normal the next day. Anyway, you have to use one of the many breathing techniques (like the ones you talk about) to fill up your lower dantien (belly), then middle dantien (chest cavity), and lastly upper dantien (cranium) with yang chi and at that point (once these cavities are full), you go into the "no mind" state and the polarities go away, allowing the 2 types of chi to fuse in the upper dantien. This forms a 3rd type of chi, known as fusion chi, true chi, lightning chi, golden elixer, or hatha prana (fusion of ha and tha prana). At this point, you never actually stop fusing because it just happens automatically. You can fuse more or less depending on your focus in the upper dantien. At this point, as a man, your further progress in cultivation is mostly limited by the scarcity of yin chi available. This is where the sexual practices can come in, but from the methods i have seen, they are pretty predatory towards the female and drain their naturally abundant yin chi. Once you reach the fusion stage, you will notice that the upper dantien will flare up when you pass through a cloud of yin (usually while driving), also, strong emotional states from other people emit yin that you can absorb and fuse up just by being in proximity. Additionally, there are some physical locations that emit yin (yin fields) such as caves or springs. Once you start fusing, you use the fusion chi (also called golden elixer) to open up all chakras, which youll find are arranged horizontally along the shushumna channel in front of the spine. This is a slow and sometimes painful process and involves untying carmic knots from past life issues (youll understand when you feel it). Essentially you flare the upper dantien and use the pressure to open up the knots and unfurl the chakra petals. Once they are all open, you then use the same process to gradually widen the shushumna until it engulfs the chakra petals and form your dao pillar. At this point, you cant put any more fusion chi in your dao pillar. Now you have to use the kechari mudra (takes about a month of daily stretching your tongue by pushung back with your fingers, you DON'T have to cut the frenulum) to begin filling up the rest of your body with fusion chi. Now you start forming the nascent soul (angelic body). As your body gets more and more full of fusion chi, you start to develop these strange abilities (supposedly). Once your body is completely full, you keep going and completely replace your physical body with the nascent soul and then, you ascend to a higher plane of existence (immortal ascension, rainbow body, heavenly ascension). Anyway, this is the secret method of natural path qigong (sanchin, hatha yoga, kuji-in) and is different from dragon gate qigong, which forms a core of yang chi in the lower dantien and automatically forms a yin chi core in the huiyin point at the extreme lower part of the lower dantien. You then fuse these together in the lower dantien. Dragon gate is much quicker with regards to developing the "magic" abilities, but is much more dangerous. Use this information as you will.

To anyone on the fence: I fell out of daily meditation practice over a year ago. I'm not sure why, because the benefits to my wellbeing, and by extension, to the wellbeing of those I interacted with daily were very evident. Although it's been quite some time since my last "session", I'm absolutely more peaceful, optimistic, and productive than before I started. Watching this reminded me of its importance, and so I'm resuming the practice.

About 2 years back, out of curiosity I began learning about Patanjali's yoga sutras. I'm not a learned person nor much of a practitioner of yoga. I expected that it would probably take decades to understand what I was doing. I had learned enough to attempt a 'five point breathing technique '. I thought at most I would enjoy some peace of mind. After a couple days of focused breathing, during a meditation session I slipped into a state of pure bliss and perhaps ecstacy. My body was gone and so was my breath. The world was gone and so were any anxieties, but not my mind, my thoughts remained but were very different. My mind kept reaching for a body and physical reality that was not to be found. I was something unlimited and unbounded. It happened again the next day even more easily. Following this though I began experiencing and sensing things l was not prepared for. A normally unseen world started to come into focus. If you do such things, be prepared for your life to change.

@@Nozarks1 There are lots of online resources exploring yoga. I thought 'the yogic lens' youtube channel helped me understand some important basics. Different people relate to different ways of explaining things. There are breathing exercises/meditations on that channel that were very close to what I was doing. Also, different people are in different states of awareness so it's not just about technique. Some people practice for decades while some people are more focused inwards on the self and just need a small nudge to experience beyond objective reality. Also, I'm not a teacher, so I can't say whether I think people should practice these things on their own, that's totally one's choice. But I can tell you that it's important to be prepared incase you experience any sort of perceptual shift. Our senses are very limited. If you go beyond them you may not be prepared for what you may encounter. Existence is filled with all sorts of astral entities and other non-human intelligences. You should at least be prepared for lifechanging encounters. The human mind knows only illusion and is very limited. It can easily break into terror when suddenly pushed. I don't say this to discourage anyone from self exploration but it's simply something to consider if you're doing such things on your own without a more experienced person to guide you. All the best on your journey.

@ thank you so much. I’ve heard that sudden shifts can happen and are dangerous unless one is prepared or has a guide. I’ll try the site you suggested and go slow and not force anything. It’s just that there’s so much on Patanjali that it’s hard to pick out one. Best wishes to you on your journey too. If you come across something you feel will help, I’d really appreciate your letting me know. Thanks

@@Nozarks1 Sure you are quite welcome. Help and guidance means something different for each person. If one is seeking a complicated experience to replace their current complicated experience, that is what they will find and appreciate until they are ready for another. And that's ok if that's where they are. If one however longs for the simple truth of the self, know that has always been with you. Constant seeking then becomes the way that we avoid seeing it.

Day ! @Quazi, does this have to be done for at thing in the morning? Day 1 was NOT GOOD. A normal working day for this home is everyone starting at 430 and there's no quiet anf calm till after 7. It is a small home and there is not a place for quiet when everyone is her. so my attempt was interrupted twice, at 8 minutes in anf 3 minutes. This made me frustrated and made controlling my breathing impossible and did not put me in the right mindset for the mirror principle at all. My question is does this have to be done first thing in the morning b4 anything else to have ita impact? What is the point of the temporary shower. As a person. With body temperature regulation issues this caused an issue as well making me uncomfortable because my nervous system was off. I reset it every morning with a hot shower and deep breathing in bed for 10 minutes before the home wakes and moves. Could I lengthen and add the mirror principle or does this have to be done in the exact way you say to have any benefit?

@MarySandberg-h2s of course it does not particularly have to be in the morning. That's only when it's most effective. Do it whenever you can find a moment of peace. This can be at any time of the day. If you can't find 20 minutes a day of reflection or peace.. then that maybe shows you have something to work on. For yourself.

Its based on 7 steps of Ashtang Yoga which naturally drives your senses inward from outside world if followed in series and mentioned in Patanjali Yoga Sutras. You mentioned everything great but missed very important point and that is Food. Body, mind and Food are linked. To advance your practice in Pranayam you need to be careful of your food also. Like prefer liquid food or do fast whenever possible or fruits for deeper breath. Second- Conciousness never shifts or change any state. Its stable and same(always blissful). Its modification of mind that kind of slow down due to deeper and longer breath best example like you(Intellect) are pulling reins (controlling breath)of horse(mind) So 3 things in play here I(Intellect)>>Breath(doing Pranayam)>>Mind (control mind or clean mind)

Hey Quazi, you explained breathing throught your lungs and breathing throught your diaphragm. Have you ever tried using both? Start breathing first to fill your lungs and a little before it start feeling full, use your diapragm to breath to your balls like you said. Try to fill your full torax cavity. Then let it go "stomach" first and finally completely empty your lungs of air. You will be able to breath deeper, slower, fuller, and for longer. I've been meditating like this and when I'm in flow I can reach 2 breaths/minutes: one full breath each 30 seconds

I do that, when I'm doing pranayama. It's called full breath. Push your belly outer while breathing slowly and fill the lower part of the lungs.(By pushing the belly outter, the lower part of the lungs can be expanded)..then lowly lift your chest and by this way The upper part of The lungs get filled, and finally , lift your shoulders up towards your ears, to fill the top most part of the lungs. This a full breath and you get the Most amount of Prana and oxygen through this method.

hey Q, great video, i was lucky enough to learn this breathing tech 40 yrs ago during my early martial arts journey . If i had to guess, i probably breath about 5/6 times a minute now. Good practice is 5 sec in , brief pause, then 5 out. It works, just got to be consistent

Very well described! Interestingly I can get to 6 breaths per minute for a sustained time... granted I breathe in as deeply as I can each time, and breathe into the lower torso either not just the upper part. It doesn't do anything magical alone, except if I'm feeling stressed it does immediately calm me down which sometimes is so effective I would call it magical in a sense.

I get up, get ready for work, then meditate for 30 minutes. I am so happy, stress free and energized for the day! I recently started meditating in the evening as well. I try to do at least an hour. My kundalini has been crazy lately. My resting heart rate is really low now. Last night I noticed it was way lower than normal so I grabbed a pulse oximeter. It was in the low 40’s, which is pretty low. Felt 100% normal tho.

Check out the book, "Breathe: the new science of a lost art" by James Nestor. Best book I've ever read. From personal experience I learned the body's meridians are tied in with the breath. Each time we breath our body uses a specific geometry that ripples through our fascia from the feet to the tip of the head and circulates this energy. This isn't based on belief, this is reality. 🙏

Day 1- sat down, set timer, closed door so dogs wouldnt bother me. Started breathing, dog was hiding in room and started barking LOUDLY. I kept breathing. She kept barking. Then she came over and wouldnt stop nudging me. She kept barking. I kinda lost it😂. I stopped the timer, yelled at my poor dog, got the leash to go out, went to find her in my closet looking scared. I felt awfully. I apologized. She chilled. I started again. After a few minutes,my breath slowed. My mental chatter monkey mind was going OFF! Ive read "Whole Brain Living" by Dr. Jill Bolte-Taylor so I told my left brain to shush. I told my right brain to go online. I started what felt like dreaming. I figured out an answer to a minor question. I dont know how much time passed, but i felt like i came back to the room and i felt antsy af. I tried to resist, but i looked at the timer. 6 minutes to go. I went. Just as i was calming my breathing, the timer went off. The middle was the most intense, and it's when my breathing slowed most. Day 2 tomorrow!

Thank you for the reminder. In 2012 meditation suddenly became natural and one of the things I noticed was that at some stage breathing appears to stop altogether. Again, thanks for the reminder as I’ve come away from “formal” meditation practice but this feels like a nod to re-introduce.

This to me is teaching you how to not live so attached to your humanistic behaviors. Often we allow our emotions, overthinking, etc to get in the way of potential relationships with our higher selves. The “void” is referenced to the limitless potential of knowing.
