Definetely excited to see someone from Liberia, the forgotten American colony. It was set up by white americans who were against slavery but still didnt want to live amongst black ppl. So they bought out some land in west africa to send a group of former slaves "back to africa". But there were Africans already living there so the african americans (mostly lighter skinned cuz they had significant white ancestry from slave owners) became the colonizers and they fought a civil war and did cannabilism. Crazy story. 🇱🇷

Really enjoyed listening to you guys breakdown these newbies. I feel this is a solid group, but overall just off of first impressions, it doesn’t seem to be a cast that is as interesting or as loaded as 46 and 47 were. Most of them seem to work white collar type jobs, are pretty brainy, and as you pointed come from either California or the East Coast. Even their answers on their questionnaires were formulaic with a majority of them saying they wanted someone who is funny as alliance partners and want to lower their individual threat levels. Which to be fair to them, might be a bigger issue with Survivor casting/production asking them the same bland questions every year. Idk though, still think it could be a great season, but these people are all almost too similar in away.
