Some 13 years ago I sat beside a lady on a plane headed south.. she asked what music I liked and introduced me to Jack Johnson(he's her favorite). We shared her headphones as two complete strangers listening in harmony for hours. If you ever happen to read this I'm still listening and thank you

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl, mix together egg, milk, vegetable oil and bananas. Stir flour mixture into banana mixture; batter will be a little lumpy. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop batter onto pan, using about 1/4 cup for each pancake. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on both sides. Ingredients: 1 cup of all purpose flour 1 tablespoon of sugar 2 teaspoons of baking powder ¼ teaspoon of salt 1 egg, beaten like it owes you money 1 cup milk 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil or melted butter 2 medium ripe bananas, mashed Serves 6 people

My sister used to sing this to me when i was 5 or 6. She was in high school and i thought she was just the coolest person in the world. My older sister went down a bad path. She got into hard drugs, alcohol, disappearing for months or weeks at a time and always returning with the sweet promises and apologies. I always believed her. She went into an intensive rehab program for two years and got married in July 2019. I hope she's changed for the better. I haven't seen her for almost two and a half years. She left my mom a long text about the toxicity of our family and blocked her everywhere. I'm almost 16 and i dont think my older sister would even recognize me anymore. She refuses to visit me because it means seeing our mom. I miss you so much. This was our song. One day we'll reunite when im older but the time goes so slowly without her.

Lyrics ❤❤❤ Cant you see that its just raining Ain't no need to go outside... But Baby, You hardly even notice When I try to show you this Song is meant to keep ya From doing what your supposed to Like waking up too early Maybe we can sleep in I'll make you banana pancakes Pretend like its the weekend now And we could pretend it all the time Cant you see that its just raining Ain't no need to go outside But just maybe, hala ka ukulele Mama made a baby Really don't mind the practice Cause your my little lady Lady, lady, love me Cause I love to lay here lazy We could close the curtains Pretend like there's no world outside And we could pretend it all the time Cant you see that its just raining Ain't no need to go outside Ain't no need, ain't no need, mmmm mmmmm Can't you see, can't you see Rain all day And I don't mind. The telephone is singing Ringing its too early Don't pick it up We don't need to we got everything We need right here And everything we need is enough Just so easy When the whole world fits inside of your arms Don't really need to pay attention to the alarm Wake up slow, mmmm mmmmm, wake up slow You hardly even notice When I try to show you this Song is meant to keep ya From doing what your supposed to Like waking up too early Maybe we can sleep in I'll make you banana pancakes Pretend like it's the weekend now And we could pretend it all the time Can't you see that its just raining Ain't no need to go outside Ain't no need, ain't no need Rain all day and I really, really, really don't mind Can't you see, can't you see? You gotta wake up slow

Jack Johnson’s way with words is so beautiful to the ears and is flawless! It’s like watching Lionel Messi dribble a football or score a free kick such masterpieces these two can create and are such incredible people I’m glad I have these two legends cemented in my hearts for how they are and the inspiration they give me to continue to lead with love in anything I do and remain humble I love you Jack Johnson! My girlfriend showed me your music a week ago and after the first hour I learned talk of the town and she had a tough morning the next day and I held her and sang your song and her sadness wiped away immediately I haven’t listened to country or corridos this whole week just been listening and trying to learn all my favorites from you but I love them all! You’re the best! Thank you for blessing my ears and making my childhood a great one I wish I could’ve thanked you sooner! My children will watch curious George for sure such a beautiful show and your music is unmatched you’re forever in my heart and God bless you!✝️😭💯👑❤️

Colin Davis stay cool Colin and I’ve heard plenty criticism about this song ,these ‘people’ have no life experience,no manners, even less intelligence. For what I’ve know of people in plenty different countries I can’t think of one,not one, where this music wouldn’t be appreciated It says a hellova lot about themselves rather their derogatory comments. Nothing NICE TO SAY;WELL KEEP IT KNITTED(YIR GOB) The World, needs more harmony, less criticism and more LPHMHIKNTLC 💚☮️😂🤣

Every time I hear this song, I think of my best friend from high school. We used to sing this together all the time. We used to do everything together. He was such a great guy, even introduced me to Jack Johnson when this song first came out. I really miss him. We stayed in touch after high school for some years but talked less and less because we moved so far apart. Eventually we just lost contact with each other. I think about him sometimes. Wonder what he is up to. Wonder if he found happiness in his life.

When I was little I used to always play Jack Johnson and Jason Mraz music. I had a pretty rough childhood with my dad being very abusive towards my family. When I felt depressed and just tired of everything I would listen to this music. There's just something so peaceful and therapeutic about this kind of music that just pulls you away from everything and helps you to just relax and breathe. Still love his music to this day.
