I would of never thought to put a pickled egg in chicken salad but it makes sense as i put cut up pickles in my chicken salad. I could never get away with sandwiches for Scotts lunch unless they were rueben sandwiches! He always had leftovers from supper and heated it up in the microwave! He was the envy of the lunchroom! When he retired it was a adjustment for me to not make enough for lunches! That $10 chicken will stretch for 2 more meals!

I always add finely diced fresh celery to my egg salad, chicken or turkey salad, tuna salad, ... pretty much any protein salad sandwiches. A little extra crunch and a few more vitamins! I hadn't thought of adding a diced egg (pickled or otherwise) but that's a genius idea! Going to try that one. Howie's sandwich made me want one!

Look in the cereal/grain isle! They have them at Costco. SOOOOO good for you! But don't cook them. they need to go in things raw to keep their nutritional value. On Creal, salads, yogurt...yummy little bits of nutty like goodness!

My Sophia is just like Gracie. Sits right beside me when it's time to eat. Have you ever thought about getting a already cooked chicken at Costco? Only five dollars. I use that chicken until the only thing that's left is the cluck.

We don't shop at costco offten. Here in Canada the chickens are $8 at Costco. But yes I have got them in the pastt. Once I bought seveeral and parted them in halves and then vaccum sealed them and put them in the freezer.

You shouldn't have to explain what Howie eats. He's a hard working man and needs substance. I do worry about his heart sometimes after his spell he had during covid when he was in the hospital. You do cook healthy food and not a lot of processed food so there is that. Shoot. Who knows anymore. Love watching your videos and every time I am about to throw out parchment paper or cereal bags o hear you in my head.

It needs to be well seasoned and used a lot. I've Never had food taste like metal because of cast iron.
