Thanks again for a great one! My Kalkhof trekking bike has been stripped out, has 700x2.1 mtb tyres m 29000 km and counting, original battery! Good as a gravel bike as much of my riding here in SE Spain is off road trails and farm roads. Roger in Spain 77

Thanks for showing us the beautiful views, and nice to hear that you have recovered! I bought a Canyon Endurace a few weeks ago, but I must admit that I am mostly using it for Zwift and Rouvy right now. But yes, it does have that clearance and good gear ratio, so I think that I will also try to put some wider tires on next year, and see how that goes in different terrain.

Love it m8 I bought an orbea gain d301x gravel for that exact thing so I can do both types of riding without worry mine has the grx groupset

Happy days, was thinking of a grx but find the 105 does a fantastic job 😊

Another nice video mate. I have the orbea gain D50 and it is very versatile, the only thing I’ve changed is the saddle to an SMP extra😊

Nice thing about my Orbea Gain D20 is I can get back into it after a long lay-off due to everyday 'life' and not suffer long recovery times - roll on Spring..!

My D30 orbea gain 2019 came with Shimano Claris 11-33 rear sprocket, still perfect for the roads both rough paths and country B roads

Yes I had Claris not to bad for everything 😊

I've just bought the orbea gain for the wife and I but struggling with the seat and getting comfortable over longer rides. Finding the right one is like a search for the holy grail. It will continue.........

Once you find it you will get it for every bike 😊

@LakeDistrictcyclist yep, I've had several road bikes. This is the first electric, but I still can't find the perfect seat. One day 🤞🙏

My plan is to get a gravel bike for road as well. Just can't decide if the 1 x 12 is sufficient for the road. I'm not a competitive cyclist by any means but can't afford the change gearing after I've bought again.

I had a 1 by gravel bike wasn’t a fan after always having 2 but think there perfect for off road but if your using it for road and gravel would recommend getting 2 by imo 😊

@LakeDistrictcyclist that's where my gut is at. Much appreciated.

@Dremansworld 1 by will prop have a 42 max at front so when on road and want to fly on flat I found didn’t have a higher enough gear with 2 by got a 50/34 then have best of both worlds 😊
