Hidden in a state park in Eastern Central Florida's Flagler Beach, lie the mysterious ruins of a cultural artifact that dates to the 19th century. At it's height, The Bulow Plantation covered more than 2,000 acres and produced crops such as cotton and sugar cane.

Romantic my eye. Nothing is romantic about keeping 159 people in bondage.

I am clairvoyant and I can feel the spirits and walk a piece with them in their shoes. In all the plantation stories there's no hostility at all, in fact intermarriage with the Indians, young Bulow shot against Putnam on the property because he said how dare you come wanting to kill my kin which is what the Indians were. There was no Indians attacking...it was Putnam's orders from Hernandez to instigate trouble and a reason to bring down more ammo from St Augustine. 300 people who were skilled have YET to be accounted for as well as young Bulows remains. This fellow came from a wealthy line of Barons. Why nobody can find a grave for him is more than a little fishy or swampy! This isn't exactly the way I vision the house but it's no little fishing but. He entertained the very prominent artist Audobon who mentioned the luxuriant retreat.... Then after the so called fires low and behold the Indians all disappear too as well as the cows and loot.... Andrew Jackson's work? Could he not spare the women and children ? No he couldn't. There's testimony that he murdered women and the babies. All that stuff got it's beginnings right here. All the developers are turning over illegally what is historical national Native American Cemetary hallowed ground. 300 people have to be accounted for. When they got on boats wherever they came from they had families who cared about them. If they didn't all get killed then the descendants of those people own the land. Why wouldn't they if the mean ole eney Indians burnt the place then after they are gone and whipped by the untied States army...why weren't the slaves aloud to return,? They were highly skilled. Shouldnt they be found ? Instead...it went on to Norman Harwood and he gets wacked off just the same...who comes sniffing out the land? The banks in Chicago and New York .Aetna insurance..a whole list of characters....oughte we get ahold of the Harwood descendants and find out where all the cattle and people went,? Somebody knows something they're not saying.

At $20.000 a year profit...no excuse to not pay a fair wage.. and burn the Enslavement Contract... Even if a Slave Owner was kind to their Slaves, the Slave Owner was still guilty as hell of Human Trafficking....as well as anybody that participated in keeping it going..

Hi, my name is Richard perkins. I live in Kentucky but my wife an I come down to Florida quit often, since we have lots of family here. I love history. Especially old history, like you said it's disappearing everyday. So my question to you is: would you be up to letting one come in with a metal detector an see if we could unover some history that is still waiting to be found in mother earth of the days gone by. I hunt all over the states an have uncovered alot of history artifacts. Of course anything found would be put in your muesium, so a story of it could be told to all your visitors about the plantation. Thank you. Richard w. Perkins.

Went there many years ago out of curiosity. My last name is Buelow and my last name may have been spelled without the e many years ago in Germany. Not sure about that. It is regardless, very interesting, and worth seeing.
