I watched my sister at the age of 16 go thru pregnancy ,unmarried. My family stuck by her side and she later married another man and had another child with him. He raised both boys the same ,never showed favoritism. They grew up to be great men and awesome dads. I thought my dad would lock me in my room until i turned 21 after what my sister went thru.

This is a good episode overall. It would be better with these episodes if they used a prior recurring character, than like bringing in this random issue character, who shows up once, and then they never hear from them again. Like this could have been about the Ginnie Wrobkicki character, or Barbara's friend that she had to rat on in the Barbara the Fink episode. The episode would have had more potency and realism.
