I like when you show the not so glamorous side of the nomad life. So many vloggers are so filtered and polished, I appreciate that you two keep it real.

It would be fun, in a kind of sadistic way😀 to see just how bad a “bad” travel day can be, only to see what it’s like. Have fun Sosas👍🙏👏🏻🤙✌️

We agree! We thought it was going to be just sitting on a train for a few hours. We missed our bus. Had to buy new train reservations. Found beer for a euro. Met new friends and had the most miserably hot couple of hours on a train you could imagine. We will never skip filming a travel day because you never know what could happen!

Check out the tiki bar there if you get a chance. Fun place. And i think thats where we toured underground hospital museum. Looking foward to your Novi Sad visit, think we will be there in late November.

Yes please. For information for future travellers. But also it makes a story. It's one of your unique strengths. Other vloggers do not do this. Please do.

Everything is expensive because you are in the city center. There are better restaurants 2 km away and at half the price. You have to go where Hungarians eat. 1 goulash soup is 600 HUF, not 3000 HUF. The Budapest cable car, 3000 huf/person. 500 meters south, there is an elevator, for free .

Funny you couldn't find some cheaper places for Hungarian food, cause they are everywhere in the city. You actually checked very expensive places - such as Karavan part, where you should go for vegan burger, not for gulyas. For Hungarian food in central Budapest, you should have checked Poszonyi street, Nagymezo street, Zichy Jeno and even touristic Kiraly street (place called Belvarosi Diznotoros). Also, for real budget and excellent food you could have tried some real local experience - Lehel piac (Lehel market), where they have some really big and cheap dishes.

I would like to think our research is quite good when trying authenticity in a new city, but we struggled with Budapest for some reason. Thank you for all the suggestions! We would love to go back to Budapest and give the city another go. I'll refer back to this comment when we return to Hungary. 😃
@andrewdroid1 Жыл бұрын
@@SOSASATSUNRISE The big reason you struggled probably is Budapest going really heavy on giving an "authentic" experience in terms of food to tourists. The market you went to is probably the most authentic place you can go, but no Hungarian will set foot in there because nowadays it's pretty much a place for tourists.

Great video, Do many speak English there while compared to Prague or Krakow? Thanks
@SOSASATSUNRISE2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! We have not been to Prague in a while but I do remember walking into some restaurants where no one spoke English. I do not think we had any situations in Krakow or Budapest where someone did not speak English. When all else fails, google translate is your best friend. 😀
