ONE DAY IN TAORMINA (ITALY) | 4K 60FPS | A wonderful place on the east coast of Sicily

Taormina is a very worth seeing city, situated on a hill, which offers many historical monuments as well as a magnificent view of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna. In the old town you can find most of the sights and the most beautiful viewpoints along Corso Umberto. Due to the picturesque landscape, mild climate and numerous historical sights, the city developed into one of the most important tourist centers in Sicily in the 19th and 20th centuries.
I only had about half a day to capture with my camera the many sights and the atmosphere that was unique to me. Among other things, I was thrilled by the great views, the old town and the many palaces, decorated with Arabic style elements. The visit to the Greek theater is the highlight of my video. It is the second largest ancient theater in Sicily, built in the 3rd century BC.
Taormina was defined by Goethe "The greatest masterpiece of art and nature", and the historical French travel writer Guy de Maupassant called the city a "painting in which we find everything that seems to exist on earth to seduce the eyes, mind and imagination". But just see for yourself - in my video.

Why so little time to record this video? This new work that you present to us is a great relief for me, because here in Chile the temperatures are very high, very hot and beach places are refreshing. The images that you bring us show a wonderful place, beautiful, charming, with old architecture and another not so old, that both manage to coexist very well. You manage to move with your camera with ease, in the streets of Taormina, showing us its architectural beauty and its colors. The amphitheater speaks for itself and you managed to capture it very well with a handheld camera and drone. Again, a good job you teach us, in a town, that in a few meters of surface and steep terrain, knew how to take advantage of and attract tourists from different parts of the world and you knew how to take advantage. I had to take the last bus back in the evening. For this reason, unfortunately, I could not visit all the places in Taormina and could not repeat shots several times. But I think that you still get a very nice impression of this wonderful place. And with your nice comment you have confirmed this, which makes me very happy. Yes, you can take very nice shots with the gimbal, they are very well stabilised. I have tried other gimbals from other companies, but I think the DJI Osmo Mobile Gimbals are the ones that stabilise the best. I hope you enjoy filming and creating your videos, all the best to you. 🍀🍀🍀

Video in certi momenti... esilarante: nelle riprese con il drone, la musica è calma ma le persone si muovono a velocità 4x , come nei film comici dei tempi del cinema muto, tipo Ridolini o Buster Keaton. Divertente. Bene, capisco che il drone ha i tempi suoi, ma per evitare questo effetto comico si poteva usare una serie di immagini fisse. E poi, perché ricorrere in certe riprese a un obiettivo deformante? Capisco che oggi fa tanto "smart" ed "esperto mago dell'obiettivo" usare questa tecnica di ripresa alla moda, ma personalmente lo trovo una truccatura... stupida, e un pochino sgradevole. E poi, il formato fuori standard: non è 16:9, non è 4:3 : è un rapporto... fantasioso. Per il resto, tutto bene, buone inquadrature e buona qualità di ripresa; con il disturbo degli intermezzi "pubblicitari" che un po' ne rovinano l'incanto, ma capisco che si tratta di una scelta forzata da utilità di KZbin.
