The army is responsible of the refueling and everything is ready for Monday at 7 thirty in the morning.
Comes the moment of departure, under the rain, which would complicate things in this first day!
This year the snow in the mountains along with the eavy rain that did not stop all over the night, caused strong flooding of the rivers and the first group of sections were canceled.
So we had to go to Alluminium Works, next to the famous Pipeline, where it is the only rest time of the day. Dougie tells us how it is going.
Now we go to one of the most populars groups of sections, the crowd does not want to miss the show. The sections are really difficult, full of water and really difficult steps.
Carles Esteve tells us how this Monday is going.
Dougie Lampkin, spectacular, get one of the few cleans in this section. At the end of the week he would take his ninth win in the Scottish.
Amos Bilbao, with the 4Ride Montesa, the best spanish rider this year, also riding clean in this difficult section, he is very happy and also can ride the moors sitting on his bike! Definitely a plus to keep up the forces! He ended the week as the best Spanish rider in place 21.
Back to Fort William almost 8 hours later. Sam Connor, Emma Bristow, the women's class champion.
It's time to tune up the bikes for the next day in the narrow margin that is left over to the drivers of his time limit.
The legendary Malcolm Rathmell, boss in the Sherco box. The clerk of the course, and Sandra Gomez, who tells us how as the day.
We crossed a river, raising up the bikes with the help of other three riders. It was pretty funny! every day, every moment I feel better with the bike. I'm sure tomorrow will be even better than today.
And here a whole brave man, James Moorhouse, who dares to ride on a 1980's Bultaco Sherpa!
And that is the history for six more days!
This is the Scottish, definitely a really special event!
