ONE DAY TRIP FROM PARIS: AUVERS - SUR - OISE | VAN GOGH VILLAGE | MUSEUMS TO VISIT

Curious what places you can visit from Paris just for one day?
I decided to explore the destinations that are placed 1-2h from Paris and will do a series of vlogs about it. The part that I loved the most is that to many of them you can go with Navajo pass.
The first choice is Auvers-sur-Oise. It’s a small and very atmospheric village where Vincent Van Gogh spent his last months.
🚝How to get there?
👉From 28th March to 28th October you can take a direct train from Gare du Nord.
👉During autumn - winter there are several ways to get there:
▫️Gare du Nord: RER Line H 👉 take train to Saint - Ouen - l’Aumone and from there change to the train to Auvers
▫️ Gare du Nord: RER Line H 👉 take train to Pontoise and from there you can take bus 95-07 or train to Auvers

Many things in Auvers are closed on Monday and Tuesday such as Dr Gachet’s house and Auberge Ravoux.

Yes, it’s quite common and many museums are closed these particular days, so it’s better to plan the trip during other days of the week
