Rachel, God used you to help so many people! And as you shared, you learned a lot from your children. When my daughter was a toddler we checked out your signing time dvds weekly at the local library because I wanted my daughter to learn and not sit around watching Disney movies all day. Children are a blessing from God. 😇🙌

My ASL teacher showed our class this video a few years ago. The part that always stuck with me was the part about Leah asking about "L-E-A-S-E." I think about that every time I see a baby. I'm so glad I found this video again 🤩

Thank you, Rachel! Signing Time is AMAZING. Our daughter Sarah (profound bilateral deaf with autism) and we grew up watching Signing Time and continue to enjoy it today. She is 16 now. We still have many challenges but she is wonderful and continues to amaze us. Our children teach us so much. You and your story are an inspiration. Love conquers all.

I still don't get parents who implant their kids without their consent. Obviously they can thrive being implanted at 7 or 8 years old, so doing elective brain surgery on an infant when you can't possibly get their consent is unnecessary. No wonder those videos are popping up of deaf toddlers with CI crying from overstimulation because their brains aren't made for or used to that kind of stimulation, and their parents never bothered to teach them to sign so they can't simply sign "take my implant off".
