Harry was forced to answer stupid questions about flirting, girls, he tried several times to tell the interviewer that women were not objects but these questions came up again and again

Zayn had the look that is always in style. Harrys look may not be the most fashionable look, but it seems he can pull most looks off.

LOL seeing your faces while watching it is hilarious! You're like "what the hell are we watching right now? Why???" 😂😂😂

The double standards are wild. You can see why Harry is so guarded.

You are correct on interviewers asking inappropriate questions it happened constantly and the fans were outraged that the bands management who were off camera during all interviews didn't put a stop to the questions. Questions had to be approved by management before the interviews. Its like they are being groomed and no one is stepping in to protect them because they are boys and somehow that logic lets management deem it appropriate. Its sickening as a parent to see this. They molded each one of these boys how they wanted and squashed their true selves to have them fit the mold. Its why Zayn had anxiety and an eating disorder, it why Liam became an alcoholic, Its why Louis didn't feel good enough and it why Niall lost his confidence in his talent.

Little Mix was the first group to win the X factor! They are the most successful girlband in the WORLD! They are bigger than the Spice Girls and they rule the UK. They were together for 10 years before they decided to go on a Hiatus. I hope someone pays for you to react to them because they are incredible! They can dance very well and sing and they are truly the best of friends. Zayn actually dated Perrie from Little Mix for like 5 years before they broke up and she wrote a song about him called "Shoutout to my Ex" which I believe they won a Brit award for which is basically the Grammys for Americans. I have loved One direction since I was a teen but trust me when I say Little Mix BLOWS these boys out the water. The difference is that Little Mix never broke into the American market. (Also little mix was put together by Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child)

This is just the beginning of sexualizing Harry at age 16 this continues with the show and their management along with Simon. The age of consent in the UK is 16, which is how they rationalize it. It soon becomes his main image and just continues to get worse and worse, which then encourages impressionable young teenage fans to objectify and sexualize the boys as their team never removed these types of interview questions from grown adults. You also got to remember that Simon Cowell was leading the production for the x factor as well and continues after Simon signs them.

Yes, give him the reputation of a womanizer, into older women, breaking up marriages, who can’t keep it in his pants, to cover up that he probably isn’t into women

Do you think things have changed much since those days. Double standard still? It was disgusting what they did to these kids.

Tbh I don’t think Liam was the leader. Maybe the spokesperson in interviews at the start, but Louis was the real boss. Obviously he was very characteristic and created a great dynamic between them, but even in these early days he also took care of everything job related. We know he had the most writing credits, but he was incredibly involved in every aspect of their job and would often resolve conflicts with label, and generally being a voice for the band. I often see fans looking back on this Louis thinking this was his real self, and I know it was but I think he did reduce himself to a specific role when there were cameras around. I always felt like we didn’t get to see Louis as a whole in the first few years of 1d, but now we do. + The other boys always used to say he was a good listener and the one they’d talk to and trust if they felt down, so even though he’s a cute little menace here, I believe he was just as gentle back then as he is now, just that we didn’t get to see that side of him.
