I totally didn't consider the possibility of One for All mutating again, actually. And now that I have, the very idea has me super excited. What if it was paired with a quirk like Muscular which lets you control body mass? Doesn't that mean 100% right away guaranteed? What if it was paired with a Super Regeneration quirk, which magnifies the stockpiling power pace due to all that latent energy hanging around in the cells? Or speaking of latent energy, what about if it merges with a quirk that allows the user to absorb outside attacks kinda like Fat Gum? Could you then start stockpiling power from other people as well? Could it be a setup for a Spirit Bomb type affair? Or heck. Let's not involve a quirk at all. What if the "passing on" aspect of the quirk mutates on its own to be able to do more than that, and these visions of the past are something that none of the other predecessors have ever experienced before? What if it can stockpile _experience_ as well now? I'M GOING NUTS HORIKOSHI.

Remember when All Might explained the origins of [One for All] to Izuku? He said that "the younger brother (I'm gonna call him "First of All") had a quirk this whole time, which merged with the quirk that 'All for One' gave him." All Might described First of All's quirk as "a useless quirk that just allowed him to pass it on to another." But what if that quirk actually does have a use... to transfer his will/consciousness to the inheritor? That could explain why the "traces" of the past possessors seem to have some degree of agency (refer to Izuku's match against Shinso), and how First of All was able to "speak" to Izuku in this latest chapter.

For the longest time I had theorized, or rather wanted, that the younger brother could have passed on the quirk not to put an end to his brother (AfO) out of good intentions, but rather because he wanted to get revenge on him. In doing so he would pass it on to questionable individuals but letting it pass on through generations would force the initial story to change its meaning like a gossip, and thus the modern wielders of OfA are firmly believing the objective is noble while in fact it was passed on with evil in mind. Would be pretty cool if the early users were indeed villains, but guess we'll have to see...

I must disagree with you chibi, deku having a dormant quark won't change the fact he was quirk-less for most of his life, and the result of that, his personality/ideals being as they are. He gone through it and the ideals/characterization learn by it are cemented already. A new quirk won't change the type of character he is. For example when he got one for all (very op quirk) it didn't change him (ideals , etc). He was already a smart, kind, underdog.

It does change the themes of the story, though. Deku goes from someone born without power to someone who was crippled by someone else. It would be on the level of Naruto being an 'anti fate' character in part 1 to being the child of prophecy in part 2.

There are two points I'd like to add to give you food for thought in future videos, Chibi. Firstly, it seems that All For One and his brother were legit just calling quirks superpowers back then, which is kinda fun. Nobody knew what it was, so why not just call them that. More importantly, when the First Wielder talked about a singularity, he might've been referring to something different from what you're talking about. A singularity can sometimes refer to a "point of unpredictable explosive growth". In the context of technology, it's when an artificial intelligence can start designing itself in ways humans can't understand at computer speed; it's the point where we won't be able to predict technological developments at all because of how fast it'll grow. But it doesn't have to be technology. In any data that makes an exponential line graph, a singularity is the point the line suddenly shoots up in height. *Most importantly, in the context of what the First Wielder might be saying,* it's the point where the power One For All is accumulating suddenly starts building up at an unprecedented pace. Since he said it was already past that point, this might explain the difference in power between Nana and All Might, and it marks the point where One For All surpassed All For One. Whatever is happening to Izuku, if his quirk is experiencing singularity, it might be much bigger than something that can be chalked up as "just" a mutation.

Well singularity can also mean "point of no return" and "infinity" in the context of physics and mathematics, but is basically the same sort of idea as technological singularity. In the case of Izuku this could mean OfA has now evolved to a point where the passing of power is more than just raw strength. Kinda like the Avatar state where accumulated power and experience is passed from one reincarnation to the next.

Izuku isn't a reincarnation and it was already shown he was heroic before the power was given to him. My thoughts on the ending panel...I think it has to do with Deku's interaction with Eri, I think she triggered something inside him. What if instead of reverting him to a previous state, she actually evolved him to a point where he could develope a quirk of his own? I'm pretty sure that there are at least two reasons why we can confirm that Izuku is the first user to see this 1. The flashback Izuku had in this chapter - All Might was convinced that these visions couldn't be interacted with or vice versa - this may have been exclusive to the original vision from the sports festival, but... 2. When all might was telling Izuku about All For One, he said that the previous users didn't know if All For One was trying to make his brother submit or if he was giving him a gift - thus this information was lost over time as the number of users increased and no one had seen this vision to confirm - Izuku clearly saw All For One trying to make him submit, so surely he's the first to see this vision? Then again, could be All Might just forgetting to tell him something Again Why is he such a bad teacher?

Why shouldn't One For All a combination of stock-pile and transferring superpower evolve as well and become sentient it's one of the oldest quirk that still exist come on it was in the time "superpowers" were a thing. If a system like that goes through then the evolution of humans would be 1000x times faster than ours for sure. Lmao, it would be crazy how fast we would evolve.

This theory that quirks will undoubtely become stronger and stronger without boundary is flawed, just look at Todorokis silblings. He himself is only that strong right now since he trained (or better: was forced to train) since he was a kid, by the [(possible spoiler for anime watchers)] former number two hero. Please don't forget that every quirk is grounded in reality, there is something that needs to enable the quirk or has drawbacks, like temperature management, nausciousness or the amout of sweat you need. This will stay true in more 'powered up' quirks, that's just how nature works. The only feasible thing that can create a world destroying quirk is if someone has the time, resources, brain, ability and will to do so ... well ... I know one character who would at least fulfill four of these five criteria, and with the last one I'm thinking he might be up to something ... Anyway, it wouldn't fit into the world or our known spacetime laws (which still exist in the show) for it to be the case of naturally evolving, especially in that short of a time. There just has to be a limit for it. Well, until the show throws it all over board, but I doubt it.

Okay this is something I've heard from Tripl-L (so credits to him) but what if the reason Nana is close to Izuku while All Might was far away was because it was in the order from the weakest to the strongest wielders of OfA? And by wielders I mean how each user used and harnessed OfA, Nana being the weakest/most inexperienced/most inefficient to the two shadowed figures being the strongest/most experienced/most efficient. Personally, I believe in this theory as it makes sense as to why Izuku was near Nana since now he's the weakest/most inexperienced. It also makes sense as ideally the two shadowed figures would help Izuku the best when it comes to controlling OfA.

I always assumed that each One For All user was stronger than the last one, given that OFA stockpiles power and gets stronger over time as it goes from one user to the next, hence why Izuku cannot fully control it and why he injures himself. This was stated back in the beginning of the series mind you, so I always assumed that Nana was weaker than All Might, while All might is FAR stronger than any OFA user before him, save for probably the very first user. Now I could say that Nana is not the 7th strongest, but more rather, the second most inexperienced user after Izuku, while All Might, still being probably the strongest, is not as experienced with it as other users have been. We don't know how long All Might had One For All (though it's implied to be more than 10-15 years), so we can't exactly say what his percentage is, since it's now stated that Izuku can fully control 20% of One For All.

Masterge77 Fyi, All Might might get OfA in the end of his middle school year by looking at the gakuran he wore during Kamino Arc. It is a uniform commonly wore by middle schoolers. Endeavour is 46, he is AM junior and has been number two since he was 20. That makes AM roughly in his late 40s or early 50s. We can gauge how long AM has OfA from there, about 35 years roughly.

I don't think Midoriya having a dormant Quirk has to be a problem, as long as it's executed properly. Like the original One For All wielder he could have a quirk that, on its own, is *completely and utterly useless*, but in combination with a different quirk can be very powerful. That way, Izuku having this possibly dormant quirk doesn't take away anything from his past of being Quirkless on first thought, because even if he DID have his quirk discovered it would have been so useless it would have been the same as having nothing at all.

I think the reason Izuku couldn't use the full power of one for all right away is because All Might might have made One For All so strong that not even the strongest hero in the world can use the full extent of One For All. Not saying the power was already super strong when it was past down to All Might but there shouldn't be any doubt that All Might trained hard to strengthen the quirk too. He was able to accomplish many things that the previous holders couldn't. The guy's punches were so strong that it changed the weather for fucks sake so no matter who he would pass it on to no matter how strong his successor might be, he wouldn't be able to use the full power because All Might took the quirk to a whole new level. The fact that AFO had the trouble to hunt All Might already shows how something is up; he probably understand quirks nature better than anyone else so after fighting Nana he probably knew that the next user would already be an actual threat looking how the power escalate from a gen to other - wich makes me wonder if the reason why his strategy changed so much with the Nomus and stuff like that is because now he's actually avoiding a direct confrontation. For what we seen so far, even just at 20% and at a young age, Deku is extremely powerful and honestly he lacks the experience now but in reality is smarter than All Might wich would make him an even more dangerous enemy to have.

I didn’t 100 believe that until the first user states that “ he wanted to show him more , but he can only use 20% “ and most of dekus body was shadowed out because he could only muster up 20% of OFA . Since deku was shadowed in but not fully , wouldn’t it make sense that the two on the far left are shadowed in because they don’t have OFA yet ? It makes no sense for them to be “ too far away “ plus only show the shadows of the characters and their silhouettes are too distinct and recognizable / familiar . Either Izuku saw future OFA users who just don’t have the quirk yet or time travel / reincarnations is gonna be involved . Horikoshi didn’t just use those silhouettes for no reason .

In science term a singularity is a one dimensional infinitesimally small space where density and gravity become infinite, in such a place the laws of physics are said to no longer operate the way we know it. So if the 1st OFA tells izuku we are past the singularity he might mean something like there are infinite possibilities to izukus quirk now. Not only can quirks become stronger with each generation, due to mutation they can change and i think somewhere i read this OFA quirk manifests differently with each holder. And let's not forget OFA stock piles quirks, so izuku should definitely be able to have access to nana shimuras quirk or a mutated version of it

Hey Chibi, one thing I noticed that was very small but POTENTIALLY something was in the panel where AFO takes quirks from 4 guys. The guy on the very far right looked eerily similar to Shoji. You can almost even see his dupliarm, kinda, before it gets taken away in the next pannel. Shoji's quirk is perfect for spying/information collecting missions. And he gives off a pretty mature feel, experienced even. Shoji for traitor?

So I've had a crazy tinfoil theory I thought this chapter might have highlighted. I've been thinking it for a while now, but the way All For One behaved made me revisit it. Basically, I have a sneaking suspicion that Tomura Shiguraki is actually related to All For One. He's the descendent of the original holder of One for All. The relationship AFO has with Nana is the negative aspects of their relationship, but when he was given a do-over AFO grabbed Shiguraki to ensure he was in his pocket. This is primarily based on appearance I admit. OFA has the same body type, hair style, and rough facial features of Tomura. Plus l, were this true, it would add another layer of complexity to both AFO and Tomura. AFO taking Tomura under his wing would have been more than just a jab at Nana and All Might, but a sort of rekindling of the relationship he broke long ago with his brother. Heck Nana doesn't even have to be related to him. It could have been her unnamed spouse, suggesting an entire storyline we don't know.

Yooo what if he can start spreading it around. Like what you said about it taking more than one person to get it’s full potential, combined with the theory of one for all itself, that it’s a “system crystalizing the bond between those who need help and those whose hearts cry out for justice. What if he can start either passing a certain potion on (obviously all might transferred almost all of it) but clearly not all of it completely as he kept enough to last a while especially if he had never fought all for one. So what if deku could give away ten percent to another hero, or 20%. Then they build it up and can pass on to others and all of those people will be united in that mission to save people. One power, for all heroes. What if It doesn’t mean its given to one hero for them to work for everyone (see what happened when All Might did that, when he retired, the whole thing fell apart), rather it could be used like all for one, to take the power of one quirk and spread it to all people with a heroic heart, quirkless or otherwise. Theres plenty to go around if it’s past the point of singularity. Side note: also love the idea of deku being able to access the quirks of the other users avatar style.

Personally I would like the irony and luck of Izuku being Quirkless. Because if the Doctor is indeed evil and has been assisting AFO and doing a Shou Tucker to god knows how many kids then Izuku being Quirkless is what saved him and allowed him to become the person he is so far. I just figured if it was related to his own quirk it wouldn't be that he always had one but rather that OFA had used its influence over his genetics to build one out of the potential material he inherited from he parents. Like OFA saw the potential for a quirk and fixed the problem by activating and deactivating his code so that he would now have a quirk. The difference between having something and not is pretty slim genetically speaking after all. On the matter of how Avatar state works i figured what he mean't by singularity is that the quirk had become conscious and aware. Its like the robot singularity. It can no longer be controlled because it has its own will. I don't think it is linked in any way to the previous users but rather the shadows of them have become its faces. It remembers them and who they were and that makes it who it is.

No one said that Midoria has a Quirk! One for All is evolving and All Might also said he was able to see ghosts. It plobalbly was Shimura's quirk. We know she had one because of All Might and we know that One For All combines and Enhances people's quirks but is also a power on it's own.

One For All is pretty much confirmed to be a cumulative transferable quirk. Essentially, its nature means it's a long term quirk, not to be transferred easily etc. but the power itself is that any quirk someone currently posessing One For All also has is assimilated into the quirk. Whether previously held quirks are retained by the user after transferring OFA is unknown, but users most likely retain their own physical strength, which many believe is also accumulated as this quirk snowballs. This explains why subsequent OFA users were able to use the power-multiplying quirk granted by All For One, as the accumulating effect of One For All would hold on to the quirk.

If you think of how One for All works, not that we know how Nana typically uses it, it's sort of an augmentation of what makes the user powerful, hence All Might's often use of strength creating wind pressure (his is augmented speed/momentum), and Izuku also somewhat similar approach (Izuku trying to imitate All Might). What if One for All depends a lot on how its user is best able to adapt it, hence Izuku's dream like experience, being the part that best fits the quirk earliest? That may be why his eyes and hands were the only ones visible, on top of his head (brain). Izuku has been quite literally casted as an observant character, and uses his knowledge and understanding of quirks he has learnt to power through challenges and learn to master One for All. What if this was a sign that the First has acknowledged Izuku's talent of knowledge, on top of his previous uses (him imitating All Might, with varying degrees of success), which signals a turning point in the story?

Chibi, about the healing stuff. Remember in the fight with All Might and All For One? All Might's arm was all bruised up at one point but then Nana gave him more of the power of One For All and it healed as it grew back up to buff form. After he deflated again it still wasn't blackened up like it was before that.

I think the first one for all version was a self-healing quirk, as all for one's brother had a sickness and this prevented him from dying. The holding hands could have possibly been a metaphor of some sorts to show that one for all can heal the user.

So that could be a very good possibility when they truly connect with the ideals of the users predecessors.

Maybe the reason The First holder of OFA didn’t interact with All Might was because All Might was approved of from the start. That would explain why he could access 100% of OFA from the start because being given the stamp of approval means the first holder grants you a Muscle Form capable of handling 100% of OFA. Izuku is still developing and he didn’t really have great aspirations at the beginning so he wasn’t given the stamp of approval. The first holder of OFA may be trying to inspire Izuku by showing him the past. The first holder knew that All Might had great aspirations so he didn’t need to interact with him.

I think the reason why the Users of OFA were arranged that way had to do with their will or aspirations. Those with the strongest aspirations were on the other side away from Izuku ie All Might and those with the weakest aspirations were on Izuku’s side. Didn’t it strike you as odd how the user of OFA before All Might wasn’t really known? OFA should have been incredibly strong at that point so she should have been able to do a lot and have her name spread far and wide yet she’s not known well at all. I’m guessing she had weak aspirations which didn’t allow her to access 100% of OFA. I think even AFO recognized that she wasn’t suited to be a user of OFA.

Well, technically speaking if we consider the stockpiling component of One for All, All for One was the second user of that quirk(taking into consideration that he stole that quirk from an original user) . So what if in accessing the quirks of previous users, Izuku is accidentally able to use All for One's quirk and for once he makes the choice that All for One didn't and in doing so is able to solve the quirk singularity crisis which in turn leads him to being the greatest hero the world has ever seen. What I mean is if All for One hadn't had a moral fallout, he could've become the greatest hero the world has ever seen.
