The whole scene reminds me of my childhood summers when my grandparents were still alive. Rain/shine the children would climb mango trees, pick fruits and eat them. Now my grandparents returned to their maker, and the trees are no more. Brought tears to my eyes. 😭

I'm from West Bengal, India and we have mangoes of different varieties at different points in summer too and eat them in similar ways. Like the raw mango with salt and spices in the afternoons, mango on coals (locally known as Aam pora), mango pickles, smoothies. So great to learn and know the other ways too. Finally someone who showed mango in all it's glory, in all it's forms, complete with the tree. As kids, in the afternoon, we used to climb the trees and eat mangoes sitting amidst the branches, or pick them off the ground after a storm. Sadly this year most of our mango trees got destroyed because of the cyclone Amphan. Filled my heart to see a fellow Asian portray it so beautifully. Mango is so intrinsic to all our communities. Loads and loads of hugs from India. 🇮🇳

Watching this video reminded me of the old days when I used to harvest Indian mangoes with my siblings and our helpers back at the place where I grew up. There was a time when we had this competition of having the most number of Indian mangoes. Reckless me got a permanent scar on my right knee from falling down the tree. But at the end I spent the rest of the afternoon eating pieces of Indian mangoes with soy sauce, salt, and shrimp taste. Good times.

I love mangoes. Here in US, it's hard to find good mangoes since they will be overripe once on the market (unless you are somewhere where you can access mango easily). I missed living in the countryside where I can pick mangoes in our own front/back yard. 😫😫 P.S Please be careful when climbing trees! 😊 The last part of the video made my day! 😂😂

Bebie i have this store were the owner gets almost rip mangoes and when the owner gets it to their stores it’s ready to be eaten😋 we get mangos from all over the world some from Mexico to Thailand for a reasonable price for 12 mangoes

Alhumdullillah, that huge beautiful old wild Mango tree in the forest must be more than 100 years old !! I am sure that tree's mangoes must be the most organic and delicious to say the least! SubhanAllah, this girl and her videos are an education by itself 👍💕
