Love your work guys. Born in 83, Im a huge 90's kid and enjoy the nostalgia and memories of they great era. Wish I could go back and live it again! Best times in life were before all the new age technology IMO. Glad I got to be part of it. Keep up the great work you do thank you for the amazing videos you put out.

i'd rather see them cover the early 90s games they skipped by starting this series part way through 1992. where's the new releases from 1990, 1991 and the first few months of 1992?

A Link to The Past was my favorite game as a kid. I played the GBA version for hours and hours. I would turn the game off, close my eyes, and still see the game. So many memories. Games like this really help make you think critically and aren't just mindless.

I'd kinda like to see them make this a semi-weekly (2x a week?) series, where on Tuesdays they give us 25 years ago until 2025 when it converts to 35 years ago, switching from 1999 to 1990, and finishing it up faster. But I know that'd seem like a real handful. They probably wouldn't.

9:35 God I love this retro fantasy style artwork too. It's so over the top, and it features super heroic men and women both wearing next to nothing in bad-ass poses on fantastic backgrounds. It may seem cheesy, and even back then it was seen as super cheesy by art snobs, but by golly it has its place, and I'd personally like to see more games done in a retro style with cover art like that. And yes, Boris Vallejo had a lot to do with popularising that style.

I like the Rival Turf! box art for the Super NES from Jaleco USA, because this is the most 90's box art I can only think of. Leather jackets, backwards baseball caps. This is perfect. It worked too for these 2 guys. I also be like "What is this? From a failed audition to join the boy band group New Kids on the Block (NKOTB)? A magazine ad for Bugle Boy jeans? These guys are straight out of central casting for Nickelodeon's Salute Your Shorts." After all, who is the target audience going to find more intimidating than thugs their own age?" And here they are promoting a side-scrolling brawler beat 'em up platform game. The game's logo on the box set in Antique Olive Compact font. Born in late 86, I'm a 80's, 90's and 2000's guy. I'm a lifelong video game fan and the 90's was a great decade of gaming for me.

This was a fun idea, and I think you could develop it a little further. First of all, it definitely needs Dylan in it beyond minor editing cameos. Second, it might be better served as less of a sizzle reel of earlier content mostly copy-pasted into the video, and more of a Best Of compilation, featuring some memorable games, moments, or otherwise funny shit. Cuz you guys are funny! Let that part show more =)

I played Arcana last year. It was sort of a nostalgia trip of the time I had rented the game. Both times, I never needed to restart over the loss of a character. Had a couple close calls. And it has this super attack mechanic that I only used on bosses... because it was there. Did I even need to use that feature? I felt the answer was a firm no. Still, loved every minute of its short play session and I agree that the difficulty was not excessively high. A fun game. Perhaps I will revisit it in twenty years or so.

actually somewhat surprised more Neo Geo games didn't release for the console first like Ninja Commando. While they are basically the same, the Arcade machine are marketed towards businesses. So it would be great marketing if your cousin's rich friend has an awesome game, and then it's in walmart 6 weeks later. Also they'd probably just ship quicker since the other is an arcade cabinet.
