I'm not saying all of your videos should be this format, but I like that this one was. I found it therapeutic and meditative. Watching you tear down then rebuild your busted car is a pretty good metaphor for life in general. Things happen, stuff breaks, pickup the pieces, repair what you can, replace what you need to, put things back together, and make the best of the situation.
@dragbag1616

Aye, it does not fit all kinds of content, but for this rebuild it was a really nice way to do it, and honestly was a very relaxed Saturday viewing experience. Next to that, it's just great to see you guys building back up again. Both Bens have had setbacks, but the rebuilds are inspirational and "That's life" to watch.

Just my 2 cents, but I really enjoy content like this in the car community. There's too much immediate gratification content that implies building your car like this only takes a weekend, when it takes months, or even years to progress. Not only does it present a more realistic time/work expectation, but also gives a delayed gratification that only comes from maturing with your car projects and being proud of it. Love that you guys are only a couple hours away from me as well!

tbh, I think the editing was overkill and annoying in the beginning(of their channel, not this video), but they really have a great balance now. Clearly these guys are great at filming and editing, but finding that balance is not always easy.

its incredible how fast the average joe (everyone starts here) can get at something once they have done it over and over. I did a clutch job on my car once, took us about 2 days. and about a year later we had my buddies (identical) car done in an afternoon. I imagine the next time i do it itll probably go that much faster.

I recommend you either get a cap or cover up the mil-spec connector in your engine bay whenever you have the engine pulled. Those contacts are very exposed and easy to bend. It would also prevent dust from getting in the connector. PN for what you'd want is MS3181-24NA, and the brand doesn't matter (Amphenol is good though). Also that engine bay looks awesome with the fresh paint on it. 100% worth the time it took.

I'm so sorry about the accident and glad you turned to the right and saved both you and the other driver more damage and or injury then going left and t-boning the other car. It's a sad situation but glad you are okay, and hearing you mention this wasn't your normal length videos made me want to comment. I really enjoyed this video, we watch your KZbin channel and I enjoy them but this one showed everything. It was longer, yes, but I liked seeing every detail of what you were doing and why. It might not be content that you should ALWAYS make but If you guys have enough content to fill in weekly (as you seem to like to have and as you are able to pull off so far) I thoroughly enjoyed the long form of this video. It was well thought out and gave more in depth look (even if it was time lapsed which is okay with me) of what it takes to plan out, execute, pivot, and complete your rebuild and upgrades. I personally enjoy the bigger picture as opposed to rushing the visuals and context to have a "complete build" in 15 minutes. This video was great in that it was true to what you had experienced and it wasn't just another "KZbin content video". Great job. I LOVED IT.
