A while ago during a hollow knight stream I told you about the fact that I was taking guitar lessons, having mustered up the motivation by listening to you covers. You probably don't remember but I wanted to say, that my progress is going great and I have even started singing classes. What you do here on KZbin may be insignificant in the grand scheme of things. Your not the sun, keeping trillions of organisms alive nor are you running a country. When I watched your takes on the dragon show I found humor, but I also found a unique reflexion about writing and a great perspective about a lot of subjects in the world of creation that I would never have thought about on my own just passively watching a show. The editing of the pisstakes is so compatible with my chaotic ADHD brain to the point where it's one of the few things I can watch without needing to be multi-tasking; the fake asoiaf theory video has made me laugh and brought a smile to my face on a day where my depression is hitting really hard or my anxiety's being a dick or the chronic fatigue is overwhelming; but most of all, your channel always feels like a safe space for me as an autistic person. Your videos always feel so earnest which is a fresh of breath air in a world where people call everything cringe or only ironically like something. I don't fit into that world on account of being autistic and having ADHD, and idk it's always a nice reminder that I don't have to hide the part of me that does earnestly love things, and definitely thinks too much about and invests too much into fictional media. As someone who shoots and edits music videos full time I can definitely relate to the burnout (actively avoiding editing at this very moment), and the time spent with family and loved ones is essential to recuperating. The problem for you is of course also feeding your hungry little piggie audience, however I guarantee most of us are subscribed not because of the product but for the individual creating them, and want that individual to not feel like shit (such is the nature of the parasocial thing we all got going on). Ever since I found it earlier this year, Running With the Herd has become my go to comfort song, and this year I needed a fair amount of comforting. So much that it was my most listened to song of the year. I never really use the discord for anything other than stream notifications, but I had to let you know because the song had genuinely helped me relax so many times this year. Of course I only put the one message because discord servers scare me for some reason. Regardless, when the artist behind one of my favourite songs replied to me, it meant a lot. glimbus, what a much needed joy and reprieve to discover all these videos on your second channel. yes i am writing another parasocial love letter on a year old video that you will probably never see. it's funny, the past couple months i've become obsessed with watching the skies. sometimes i walk around listening to music all night just chasing the moon, trying to find her behind the clouds. or i put some Amapiano in the headphones and go dance on the bridge at sunset. i'm sure people think i'm insane and that's okay. i also like to have full moon dance parties on the roof of my apartments. it's another great place to watch the sunset and for some reason, nobody is ever up there, so it's nice when i don't want to be perceived. yes you are hilarious, it just feels like your brain must be a beautiful and terrifying place. but i think your videos are comforting to many of us because as someone else mentioned you do have a large autistic/ND fanbase who struggle in feeling understood or connecting with other people. and it's like everything you talk about, from the ASOIAF hyperfixation we all collectively share to your spontaneous info-dumping on music theory and lichen, sharing your love of DBZ and ofc yogurt (HIGHLY underrated food), overanalyzing the fuck out of every tiny detail in the books, your absolutely gutting OG piano pieces... it is a comfort and safe place for many people which is why so many people tell you they rewatch these videos regularly. most importantly, you also share your vulnerabilities.. like you eating shit on the rocks. and that's what's relatable in such a phony and plastic NPC world where influencers are trying to project a polished and perfect image. you're the friend many of us wish we had. i clicked on this video not really knowing what to expect and once again, it feels like you're speaking directly to me. and i think 151k other people probably feel the same way. the other people unsubscribed clearly because they're obsessed and in love with you and couldn't take it the torture of your perfection anymore (not me, i'm completely delusional) anyway, what a beautiful gift it is to be able to make a career out of expressing your authentic self. thank you for sharing these beautiful human moments with all of us. and send a thank you to your family, they sound lovely and clearly did a great job

You and Schwifty really revitalized the love I have for ASOIAF, which had kind of gone away after season 8. Well, season 6 really; it was probably the 'Finally a girl is no-one' line that killed it for me. You also made me realize that what they were saying wasn't true - the fandom didn't die with season 8, it's still very much alive and crazier than ever. Some of the most amazing theories were made in the past year or two, and your streams made me go back in the theory rabbit hole on r/asoiaf after years of absence. One of the reasons I subscribed is you remind me of a friend of mine who is no longer with us sadly. He wouldn’t appear often but when he did it meant the world to me, too few people gave him a fair shot but those who did were far better off for knowing him. Glimbus, I know this video is almost a year old, but I only watched it now and I felt compelled to comment on such a sincere and thoughtful entry into the Gliscor canon of media. Your very funny and well produced videos led me to watch more, but it was your passion for art and your realistic optimism that made me subscribe. Although I'm not as musically inclined as you (I cannot name more than 2 songs of my favorite franchise's OST) I feel I am as passionate as you are when relating to some things, especially stories, narratives and tales both real and fictional. This doesn't mean I don't like music, on the contrary, I love music, as I love video games and other art mediums and I especially love when they tell stories. Anyways what I mean to say in this comment is that when I watch your videos I recognize in them the same passion I feel when sharing my passions and that enthralls me, your videos have taught me new ways to appreciate art and for that I thank you. Also you inspired me to try out teaching as a career at a time where my life was very uncertain, to pass on what little I have learned in life and to do it better than some of my own teachers. Lastly, my favorite song in the whole world is a brazilian folk/country song my dad had on a random cassette tape in his car when i was young and it has the lyrics "I think that to fulfill life/is to comprehend to love/and to keep pushing ahead", and that is only a couple of all the amazing verses it has (I swear to you, I could make a 2 hour presentation about every stanza of this song, I wish everyone in the world could listen to it). I wanted to say that I feel you not only did this, but you also understand how to share your love with the world and that is simply amazing So, again, thank you Glidus, I hope you get to do everything that makes you happy, for as long as it makes you happy
