Just so you know the XR has 2 usb c ports so you can charge and use headphones. On port is on the back and the other is on the inside right beside the face gasket

Still not a valid excuse not to include a 3.5mm jack IMO Until they make a fitted adapter for the gasket USB, it's almost unusable where it's located

I got the pro and returned it to try the XR Elite, and then I was thinking about flipping back... Obviously this was the video for me, as it sounds like you did exactly that and were glad you did.

Exactly. I was hoping the XR would be a feasible non-Meta alternative, but all it did was make me realize how much of a better product the QP is (esp. since it's cheaper than the XR now)

The XR Elite was by far more comfortable and usable for me. I couldn't travel with the Quest Pro, Its not comfortable and I'd have to wear glasses with it.

@@eightbitJuan I found it to be better and more comfortable for PCVR as well not just traveling. MsFS and Racing Sims as well as NMS. For me it's the better headset. I accept that's a personal decision for everyone. Most people though make broad statements about what is better.

XR Elite is more PCVR while Quest Pro can have the advantage of high accuracy tracking with the controllers since they self track. and has face and eye tracking. And yes standalone VR Chat I'm saving for quest pro since I'm trying out wrist trackers from XR elite. Better investment for basestations and EZ full body VR go Quest Pro. Just careful with Zucc predatory data collection

@@eightbitJuan Valve works with HTC whole time. We need HTC to do more focused SteamVR branded products. They've spent too much time putting accessories for the XR elite little by little from Face and eye Tracking, standalone hand tracking controllers and standalone Vive Tracker 4.0. Everything to ditch the Steam Base Stations 2.0

I had a crazy amount of issues with oculus software, with my quest pro. Pc vr is basicly unplayable even through cable. Wouldn't call it "stable" or "mature".

I came to realize that the XR image of the Quest Pro is very depth-accurate even without a depth sensor. It's rather fuzzy, yes, but I don't do much with it other than getting tap water from the kitchen sink. What specific reading n the a there to have that sensor?

I'm worried by this video... I think the Quest Pro is a literal piece of garbage. I had high hopes for the Elite. Now I don't know where to take my gen 2 VR money, and I know Big Picture is a hit but I'm done with lighthouses.
