I feel like this kid called Mbappe is a good call for Ipswich. He currently plays in a random club in Madrid and could do quite well for the Hatters. His finishing is not the greatest so I think a price of £2.5 million would be fair, if not an over-pay. Other clubs like Burnley and Millwall are also showing interest for the French winger.

Without Quansah liverpool have one fit back up center back in joe gomez, & he often fills in for the fullback position as well. I wouldn’t feel comfortable with just one backup center back

I have a feeling we may enter the transfer market for a left sided CB. They were looking in the summer but would only act if Gomez left. Konate will be back soon and I still think Gomez will want to leave next summer to be a guaranteed starting centre back elsewhere so they could sign one 6 months in advance perhaps and send Quansah on loan to get his confidence back and give him game time and experience of playing week in week out elsewhere so that when Gomez does leave, he has enough confidence and experience to backup konate whilst the left sided CB would backup Van Dijk.

@@TheRealCalJones Not sure if that's going to sit in well with Slot unless a genuine CB comes in. While Quansah has his confidence shattered, he is still comfortable and tune in with the rest of the defence set up. But I'd love to have us a LB, a proper LB.

We are not gonna sign a LB whilst we have Robertson and tsimikas, one would have to leave and we won’t force them out. More likely we sign a left footed CB who can play LB then address the LB once of the players leave

As an Ipswich fan the biggest issue I have seen is once Delap comes off we have no focal point. Hirst now for 12 months has pretty much been unavailable for 90% of it. Need a back up as Ali is championship level at a push and he is the back up.

Sorry to completely disagree but KDH is not what we need - he doesn't even fit the formation we're playing right now - Okoli is only 'out' because Ruud isn't playing him... RB is by far our biggest problem and most our goals are coming from over there - second to that is a RW cause Fatawu injury and Kasey not being good enough mean our entire right side is problematic.

@ that would definitely be the way we’d have to set up if we did bring him back but I’m unsure if he has a niggle atm or if Rudd doesn’t want him to play on the right as he seems to be utilising Kasey or Ayew instead I would not be against a 3 behind the striker of Bilal, KDH and Buonanotte though that could be incredible and so creative and fluid 🙌🏼

The Buendia call would be good if he was to play as a 10 rather than on the right. Ipswich’s right winger is typically a hybrid wing back / touchline winger looking to be an outlet but to also create a back 5 at times. Not to mention he would never join due to being a hero at Norwich. The Cherki call is just mental. The entire ethos of McKennas Ipswich is workrate and good personalities. Cherki would never join but he’s also known for being a bad character and terrible off the ball. And again, Ipswich play a hybrid wing back / outlet winger on the right, which doesn’t suit Cherki who is a diminutive player who likes to operate in central zones. I like the vids guys but disappointed with some of these picks, it’s not fifa career mode.

@lewisoxley3799 I also believe it is too soon for Irankunda. Also, I doubt Bayern would ever send a young foreign player whom they believe in so much to England. Better keep them in Germany and have them get used to their new country as oppose to sending them to yet another one after they already moved, in Irankunda's case, halfway across the world. Just remember how leaving Germany on loan hurt Renato Sanches' career. He himself said it wasn't the move to Bayern, that was the bad decision. It was the loan to Swansea.

As a Leicester fan, Leicester don't NEED Dewsbury-Hall. We do need to control the midfield, and I think someone more defensive than him is needed. I still think the best option is for Nistelrooy to get the best out of Winks, Soumaré and Ndidi, and for the club to sign a winger or a right-back in January.
