Very nice pattern. Question: By using the word "row," do you mean across the quilt? Or do you mean top to bottom as in a column? 9:06 ok, by the end, I now understand: "row" means left to right! Thank you for a quick, easy pattern!

Great pattern, the fabric was a bit busy for this or maybe the prints just didn't lend themselves to this pattern. And it could just be my own estetic.

So what does the back look like? What about binding. I missed something

This is just the flimsy, you definitely haven’t missed anything, she hasn’t shown a completed quilt. I get confused when some call the top only ‘the quilt’, and some call it the ‘quilt top’, and then others call it a ‘flimsy’. However, I have saved it into my quilting folder…

I don t understand why the blocks were trimmed to 8.5”.
@tippylaroux3137
@tippylaroux3137 Ай бұрын
Start with 10” block. Subtract the (3) 1/4” seams (1/4” off both half’s) You end up with the stripe block being 8-1/2” (tall) x 10” (width) If you cut them all to 8.5” x 8.5” you’ll have an even square block

What tippy said! The HSTs were trimmed to 8.5" to match the 8.5" stripe block, which is smaller due to all the seam allowances.
